Ah well, if the point of the film is that the tiny class of ultra wealthy elites have always treated the working class as a cheap resource, that's nothing new. It's pretty much the history of the world. I've known it for 35 years and I think most people would agree, even if they don't feel they can do anything about it. The big money crowd have certainly done a good job at manipulating us, otherwise Reagan and Dubya would never have been elected. Well, 'elected' is the wrong word in Bush's case...
The people do occasionally get fed up and band together to fight back. The growth of the Labor movement in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century is an example. Reagan and Bush did a good job of stomping the gains we made then. Now people are angry again. I hope that Obama will be the beginning of a new era of populism that will change things for awhile. El Nino and co. would call that a pipe dream. They may be right, but I pray otherwise.
Amen
remember reagan skillfully used crack and aids to derail the 70's love train....9/11 and cheney in his mad ferver to get back at the love train for deposing of nixon has turned us back even further then ever...remember this is an oligarchy posing as a democracy.............markets........
and demonic agendas...

For the believers, conspiracy theories are merely adolescent fantasies. It's fun to know things that other people don't. And it's comforting to have an excuse for being an outsider. For the cons who scam the believers, the theories are a source of income and attention. They sell books. They hold conventions (don't forget the registration fee). They get interviews. If they make the Big Time they can even become a religion. But hey, that's the free market of ideas right? No one's really hurt right?
BBBBAAAHHHAHAHAHA...until they bring out the Kool Aid.
