Hurt my tongue when eating ass

You know that little sinuous connector to the bottom of your mouth and the tongue. Whenever I'm eating ass vigorously, which is about any time I eat ass, I ten to scratch that up with my teeth and it scars up a bit for couple of days. is it my technique

Sounds like it to me, you might try a different angle while you're eating, or try opening your mouth a little more. Extreme measure would be to replace bottom front teeth with a removable bridge, then no more scratching because you can just take the teeth out.
