I'm not familiar with what's going on in Portland, but I've never heard about any particular club there. Maybe Mandy ("tsmandy" here) knows of one.
I am not sure what to expect of Portland due to population but is there any recommended places in Seattle? Since travel may lead that way soon and knowing where to go would be nice. Thanks in advance

That last wasn't very complete. There isn't much chance of meeting a real TS in any of the bars there that I know of, but Embers on Broadway is worth visiting.

Well the Towne Lounge is a bar, and I've seen some good shows there, but it's not a tranny bar, more of an indie hipster bar with hipster decor and expensive drinks. I didn't see any other TS the times that I was there. But the music was definitely good.Quote:

I know that Rotture occasionally has some cool events, but I just don't know of a hang out spot for trans-women in Portland. There are probably several, but I don't work bars.
The cool thing about Portland, is that there are alot of TS just hanging out around the city at coffee shops, and in bars, and if you are out and about enough you are bound to meet some cool girls.
some of the girls I know will hang out at a place in SE Portland called Crush......
Crush is cool, nice atmosphere, decent food, tasty drinks (a bit overpriced) and they are definitely queer friendly.Quote:

There are really no updates about this since Mandy answered the OP. There is a great night the first Thursday of every month at The Velvet Rope (thevelvetrope.com).
Other than that... not too much going on still in PDX surprisingly.
OK, back from Afghanistan and "good" is what I meant.... Just sayin'...
