She is a good artist. She's crazy and she does wacky things and dress weird. But I agree with the second video towards the end when she said that she is too wacky for politicians to take her seriously. Which I agree.

She is an entertainer. And entertainers aren't taken seriously. But aren't politicians entertainers too??? :)

Maybe so, but she really doesn't have any credibility; so the suits in Washington are not going to take her seriously. Bono is an entertainer, but he has credibility.

Lady Gaga commands an audience of millions of kids who's primary news source is youtube and facebook links. I can assure you her massive fan base of teens and 20 somethings takes her deadly serious. To underestimate her influence is extremely naive
you go girl

Bono credible? Seriously? This is a guy who whines about destitute people in Africa and then registers his band as a company in the Netherlands because he can't be bothered to pay taxes. Because oh shit, he might need those millions for something. He then has the balls to try and solve some of Africa's problems by sponsoring a slave mine, more or less, so that he can bleed them dry some more; instead of reading up and figuring out that Africa's problems are down to European interference. But hey, he's just a dumb catholic middle class Irish guy who like most middle class gets his cues from tabloids.

I find it amusing that gays argue that their sexuality doesn't define them as people and then argue that it's necessary for them to be able to broadcast their sexuality.

That's not the argument, gay boy, & never has been. The gripe is whether or not you should be forced to hide who or what you are. Aren't you tired of the closet?
