I agree, of course, Prospero. Of course we should all accept differences and respect everyone's choices. And Robert Louis, you are obviously right: being in the opposite position, we would see things differently. Then again, you have to admit something here, which is a constant (I'm sorry): some guys have a lot of difficulties dealing with their own desires and sexuality, and because of this obvious lack of self assurance, keep questioning guys who are self assured. They constantly feel that their sexuality is being challenged, as male, by that of guys who do not share their preferences. Yet, I've made the remark somewhere else and I'll make it again: NO ONE is saying here, that bottoms are fags, or any such absurd and disgusting thing! no one, to my knowledge is questioning the manhood of these guys! It's the opposite that keeps occuring over and over, and all of that because of a lack of assurance. They are the ones to raise questions by their own lack of assurance! They percieve the very simple affirmation (assertion? statement?) of our sexuality as a challenge to theirs!
Moreover, there is an image of transsexual women that is carried quite often by some around here which is a pure fantasy. Yet it is often presented and defended, out of the very desire of some guys, as the reality! It's not always fair for the girls, in my opinion, and there's nothing wrong with setting the record straight, at least once in a while! Of course, yes, some girls, even many, also like to top. Fine! But t-girls are not futanaris! It sometimes seems to some as if they were those Japanese huge dick-girls who want to fuck anything that moves! That's ridiculous!
One more thing that I have to get off my chest here. There's a perspective defended by some guys which is shitty, in my humble opinion, and is defended often by bottoms who have such self assurance problems. They insist that if guys like girls who have a penis, they are has "gay" as they, themselves, are. You know, I wouldn't mind the least bit being called gay because I also love girls with the little extra. I find that these tags ridiculous and in fact, worthless. But what I do find much more offensive in this perspective, is the fact that it's partly negating the fact that these transsexuals are women! And that, to me, is shoking! It implicitely makes of transsexual women men in drags, which infuriates me, personally. I suppose I very much have my macho, hetero point of view, here, but Christ! how can anyone confuse these girls for guys because they have a wiener? To me, all you have to do is look at them!
(Sorry for the english: when I get pumped up, I think it's getting even worst... )
