A couple of years ago the porn world ground to a halt in LA when one of the leading performers tested postive for hiv and went into hiding. It was suggested at the time he may have caught it after making movies with shemales in Brazil. Was there any truth in this? Has the guy in question come out of hiding? If he has, I take it he doesnt make movies anymore? Or could he only with condoms?
I dont think he had anything to do with shemales in Brazil, If I remember correctly it was a gangbang with females he did and the scare was about the girls who did the gangbang creampie or something to that directiona and then came back the the U.S and worked,,,I really dont think shemales had anything to do with it.

Bianca Biaggi is a Brazilian pornographic actress, now retired from the porn industry, who tested positive for HIV in the spring of 2004.
It is thought Biaggi contracted the virus after an anal sex scene with a transsexual performer, while shooting an American pornographic film. Biaggi is suspected of infecting veteran pornstar Darren James in a shoot in Brazil involving anal sex. Wow wrong outbreak but 2004 was just when I started in the Porn industry so I missed hearing about it.
I remember Miss Arroyo marched over to AVN accusing them of running a false company because they failed to catch the infection in time. Her dreams of making a career while laying down with her legs spread open were now a stream flowing down to a waterfall. Things had come to a halt for her. The band was no longer playing her tune, and nobody was listening.
John Stagliano contrated HIV, he has stated that he believes it occured during unprotected sex he had in, well, somewhere in south america.
It can happen to anybody.
To be honest, he probably got fucked in the ass by a HIV positive individual and the unfortunate results of that played out.

Wear condoms and get tested regularily. The porn community is probably the most safety aware group of people in the world, but shit happens.

As for Miss Arroyo, she was working in the industry for several years before she was infected through this outbreak.

The first that I read of it was supposedly Stagliano's own account, in one of Larry Flynt's mags, I think.
