Yes its hard and probably pointless to choose between the two except that I think the French have the 'fine dining' experience perfected, as long as you don't mind lashings of butter and cream; its also absurdly expensive and so not an every day thing, whereas Italian food scores on so many levels but is always better there: I once had a simple plate of pasta in Genoa, with a chilled Montepulciano and it remains one of the most amazing things I have ever eaten. Italian women are also stylish, I think on reflection its a continental thing, and for some reason I have noticed that continental women wear better shoes than the women here.
Italy also seems to both produce and attract some gloriously beautiful tgirls.
Mind you, when it comes to cuisine, my vote goes to Spain, but only if you're lucky enough to get far away from the tourist spots.
The difference between France and Spain that I've genuinely found is that the French will discuss restaurants and then plump for one, whereas the Spanish will discuss what they would like to eat, reach a consensus, and only then decide on the restaurant.

I wouldn't say there's a particular way to look British at all. I'm yet to meet someone in London who's of English/British ancestry, the diversity's great. Each of my Grandparents are of entirely different ancestry and nationality, personally I wouldn't like it any other way.

I disagree...personally I'd like everyone to look and sound the same. I want them all to look, act and talk like Libby and Sammi. LOL..If that's narrow minded....consider me guilty !

I can relate. Los Angeles looks more like Mexico City every day. Watch where you step unless you don't mind ruining a nice pair of shoes.
Here's our City Council on a Casual Friday.

I hate it when Americans see British people then the American start speaking British. Kind of annoying. Some of the people that I work are British and the Americans are always coming up to them and saying "Hey isn't a cigarette in England called a fag?" Then the American goes off on some kind of tangent about smoking fags or lighting up a fag.
