Re: Looks like backpage is off line
Hmm idk, those Instagram "models" do it all the time. Like they aren't famous or anything, just keeps posting pictures of their bodies and put in their bio, "Contact for bookings" or some shit like that. That is why they don't seem to have a "real" job but are always traveling everywhere, and every pic of them traveling is always of only them, not with family, friends or a partner. Because the person taking the picture is most likely an old Saudi Arabian oil mogul lol.
Proof of what I am talking about google, "TagTheSponser". It is a website of guys tricking those "innocent" instagram models into hiring them as escorts to expose them.
But anyways, escorts can do the same in Grindr, like some have pictures of roses as their profile picture. Or they just write up a normal bio, and when you message them they say "generous only". I think it will be harder for the FBI to crack down on a dating app like Grindr or social media app like Instagram because in any of those websites, escorts will always find a way to try to get clients. If they crack down on those platforms, social media will die lol. Even on facebook there are some escorts that advertises there.

oh i agree that there are ways around it but specific word combinations will likely flag a profile. the roses idea sounds like a good one.
Re: Backpage seized by FBI
TER just got blocked for the US. I was on the site reading about the recent backpage story, when all of a sudden I clicked on a link and a statement popped up explaining they are blocking the US from accessing the site.

The owners of the apps can be focused on thanks to the new laws coming. However, this is not Backpage's first tussle with the government and they are probably going to fight it. I am sure they were well aware of the focus the government had on them. TER and Eros is next on the list. The advertisements won't go anywhere, but they won't be centralized as before. Of course unless we all forget, it's election season and certain people will do what ever it takes to keep their position. So, it's going to get worst for a while. So families can go to sleep happily knowing that people are not paying for sex and violent criminals who openly shoot people in public are left in peace.

There are always ways around word filters in bios like some types of emojis, or just a basic normal bio. They will just reply to anyone that hits them up that they are looking for generous guys only. If the FBI starts cracking down on those platforms, they will literally have to shut down every dating app and social media apps and websites like facebook. They would never do that. They can try to make it harder for escorts on those sites, but they will always find a way. Even by just making a normal bio and replying that they are escorts to the guys hitting them up. If their profile gets banned, they can easily make another one in those type of things. They can just use "google voice" app for fake phone numbers for apps that requires phone numbers like SnapChat. There are always escorts advertising in SnapChat as well. Just got to find out there snaps first, which will now be harder cause of the shutdown on BP and CL.
But I can guarantee that more Trans will definitely start using Grindr now since you can filter for only "Trans" profiles.
Some guy will most likely make another BP type website based from another country anyways lol.
Re: Looks like backpage is off line
You can't access TER from the US, but from another country it's absolutely fine. That's all I am going to say on it.
Good news camming will be the new thing very quickly. Sadly the market is going to get overly saturated.

Some cam sites are already cracking down on models that offer "dates." MFC won't allow models to do date raffles anymore. I'm not sure what the situation on CB is right now.

Unless they monitor private chat and fan meet ups. There is so many ways around it. If it's bad enough the whole site might just shutdown. Still we haven't seen the challenges to the law and while prima facie (on it's face or the just how law is read) it seems fine in actual execution the law will be broad and burdensome to people's rights. The AG and FBI are not winning those cases. They can't depend on Conservatives or Liberals on the courts to save them, not in light of certain legal arguments.
