The Conjuring still freaks me out, even when the Warner Bros. logo comes up. Joseph Bishara's discordant music makes up a big part of the atmosphere for that movie, the same with Insidious.

I don't know what my favorite horror movie of all time is, I can remember watching King Kong when I was four years old and thought it was awesome. As an adult I would say The Exorcist hit the AWESOME MARK best.
As a rule, I always add ten points to the critic's ratings....... if it's a horror film.

Glad to see the Conjuring is giving it a run for 2nd runner of all time. i just wasn't that crazy about " the NUN' , which i thought was very overrated.
LIGHTS OUT should be in the discussion somewhere. and i had to rate it ahead of Conjuring 2 and the NUN.
