The niche is insular and cliquey and casting is hugely based on personal favoritism/nepotism, not talent or even sales. This is done by those at the top of the food chain largely as a method of controlling those below, thereby perpetuating their own dominance. They have no problem making bricks look like stars and talented girls outcasts as long as either strategy serves their long term goals.
TS is a very small niche and is in a growth period right now because it's had nowhere to go but up. The industry power elite know this full, so maintaining control (dominance) in this climate is the only way to win the long-game as new competitors enter the marketplace.

Yasmin has been asked by numerous sites to shoot and she declines as she is happy with working for Kink at this time. She makes good money there so why would she go to another site. So until she decides to shoot outside of Kink thats where you will see her.
PS: The TS porn industry isn't much different than any other entertainment business. Remember this girl?

Well when a popular person has been in the business for like a year and has never appeared on your site then.............................................. .................................................. .................................
This isn't straight porn with tons of companies doing bookings. There are just a few TS American companies. It should not take more than a year or more for a girl to appear on a site.
I don't know too much about Paris. She did photo shots with SMC, hardcore scenes with TS Seduction and a few hardcore scenes with Devil's Films. She retired from porn. To my knowledge she never appeared on any Grooby site nor Strokers. She was in the business well over a year.
Celeste is extremely popular. However, she has not been on Strokers for two or three years. She has topped before for Grooby but never booked for TS Seduction. She has never been on any SMC site, but Isa told me that Celeste use to be a flake.
Yasmin is the exception. Personally I am sick of seeing her on TS Seduction. I know she is hot and is a good performer. They could shoot more different people if they honestly wanted to.
Franklin - can you get me the profit and loss statements for SMC, Strokers and Kink for the years 2011, 2010 and 2009 please as well as any tax return info.
You are going to see less and less of some girls, if some companies give them very poor exclusivity contracts essentially banning them from working for other online companies. This is detrimental to the models and the fans but serves those companies well, so let's hope it won't happen.
I agree that shemale porn is boring when all you see is the shemale doing the sucking and getting fucked by a guy. This is why I haven't watched straight porn between a guy and a GG in years.
I'd rather it be the other way around and that the shemale is either with a GG or another shemale.
When I started out an exclusive contract would be hurtful but now I dont see it has hurting them but honestly good for them (in beginning). A new girl can get her name out then stop working for other companies while launching her own site. Look at Kimber for example who doesnt work for anyone anymore and has one of the top financially profitable solo sites. Someone like Jonelle who is exclusive to SMC is not hurting by not working for another online company in the beginning. She will continue to get work for SMC sites, she is making money and being paid to do Member webcam shows for SMC sites, guys who want to see her because she is NEW and fresh will join her site now instead of other sites. Only small negative is exposure but she can optain that with a few DVD's out and her continued online presence via social networks. I DONT see it hurting online companies except those who want to shoot her. Jonelle is only an example because she is really a hard worker! Eventually down the line she might have to branch out but in the beginning I dont see the necessity for her to shoot for every online site and just focus on her site and her team.
I think new models would be smart to think about not over exposing themselves in the first 6 months and build their own sites, camming, DvD appearances ETC
Overexposure shouldn't be an issue as long as girls keep it fresh. People don't necessarily get sick of new models very quickly, but they do get sick of seeing them always looking the same and doing the same things repeatedly. The way to stay relevant is to have depth, not to artificially slow your own career progression. Just look at Tiffany Starr. How many shoots has she done so far? Maybe 10? And she looks completely different in each? It all comes back to the quantity/quality ratio. If you can keep up the latter, the former becomes less of an issue.
