You've missed the point entirely. Laphroaig was suggesting to another member that the deletion of the threads would have no difference to that member's post count. I merely stated that the deletions had altered my count. There was no suggestion whatsoever that I was complaining about the deletions

It's done. It's what it is. I've stated my reasons. Like them or don't.

I'm still struggling to see why those 80 or so threads were deleted and not others. For instance, somebody mentioned that a post-op thread was deleted, which hardly sounds like the sort that would have been full of stolen images. Yet there are still some threads with hundreds of pages of images that weren't deleted.
You said that this action was prompted by seeing two pages of only image updates. Isn't the real question why there were no posts on anything else? I think the real problem is not that there's been more porn, but that the other stuff has dried up. For whatever reason, the people who were more likely to post comments have been steadily drifting away. We may end up with a dead forum with not much porn but not much other stuff either.
High probability of this happening. I hope not but if no one is posting comments/discussions and suppressing the amount of porn posted(stolen or not) I doubt the forum will flourish. But I hope I'm wrong, this forum is pretty cool and a great place for people with trans interests whether it be porn or education.

Bottom line is that you can either accept the new rules or go.
It's crystal clear that Grooby isn't changing their stance here.

The forum has been in decline for a while. At some point it becomes self-fulfilling - people log on, see nothing much of interest, and don't come back or come less regularly. Ironically, this little controversy has generated more interest than anything I've seen for some time.
Some people will say that this is because the image threads crowded out other stuff, but I don't find that convincing. If people are concerned about this why don't they make more effort to post other stuff themselves?

It's a one way discussion.
I'll be the first to admit I've posted a TON of pictures here - but I've also added discussion and general information posts as well.
No one is paying a dime here......Grooby sets the rules, one is free to stay or go.

I think we get your point. I know in the end he can do as he likes, but this doesn't mean we don't have a right to question it and ask for explanations. Contrary to your assertion, there is a "we" here. The membership has a legimate interest in this forum and how it is run.
I notice that some of your threads where you posted many images were deleted. I assume this was something you liked doing and you had no idea that you were doing anything wrong. Do you seriously have no opinion of your own on what was done?

ALL forums in this old school “bulletin board” format are in decline. I have a variety of interests, and the decline in popularity of online forums is evident no matter what the forum topic is. It’s great that this forum even exists, as it probably doesn’t make much of a profit for Grooby, if any. Can you name any other porn company that has an active online forum? I’m not aware of any.
If you want a place to host images (and see other peoples’ images) without the burden of topical discussions, it seems like Reddit is a good place to look. r/traps or r/transgonewild etc etc. Reddit is not very good for searching through archives of older material though. If you see a photo you like, download it. Keep your own archive.

This was the response given earlier
