is it me is Mia Isabella looking a little different of late.

She is mixed racially, but she looks more black now. I know a lot of Caribbean people, and they call any light-skinned black person red-skinned.

Dunno, maybe just her hair that makes her look different, but she looks a little different, i cannot put my finger on how or why.

Could be just a summer's tan, honestly. Also looks like she may be wearing her hair more natural now.

Last year, during her stay in New York, she got connected to Michael Jackson's doctors and she's now doing the "reverse Michael" thing - going from pale to black. True story, I swear.

You KNOW Black men as a group on the DL love, love, LOVE tgirls.

So it might just be a personal or business decision.

LOL being shocked that someone is looking more 'Black'. Shame on you, bruh.

most people now post threads of (imho) basic level. not very engaging, a bit mundane.

This thread being a perfect example...

First off there's no such thing as black people, we are African American. Learn the definition of black. Mia's complexion is no where the color black smh

When Black people use the term 'Black' as a self identifier, it's about taking agency over our OWN identity and not meant to be used literally.

Just like White people don't call themselves 'White' to literally mean the color of snow.

Your preoccupation with NOT being called Black because the term doesn't reflect your actual skin pigment is baffling.

We were nigger/nigra/negro/colored....until we chose to stop being defined by others and chose to call ourselves BLACK.

You got too many brain cells James to use such a juvenile argument against the use of the term 'Black' by Black folk.

Black men among trans-attracted men IMO are disproportionately represented based on their percentage of the population, IMO.
Far from saying ALL BLACK men are DL.

Africans don't identify with black Americans AT ALL. Also, a higher percentage of black Anericans prefer the classification of "black" to "African American."

Black American pop culture has a huge influence in Africa. The African diaspora is a huge consumer of what's happening in the Black American culture, even though we are so culturally different.

Why do "African-Americans" love the movie Scarface so much? And is that a negative stereotype?
