Basically. And yeah, the black community is known to have some deeply rooted homophobia. The black dude with the dreads sounded completely down and did that in a group setting, which surprised me that anyone would be that down and open like that. I think that's a common steryotype and to some degree people are more used tro them but Brazil has the highest murder rate among trans women as in they are murdered at a rate around 3-5 times as much as the second and third countries (Mexico and the United States)
