This thread is for those of us who are interested in identifying the many shemales/transsexuals who grace the numerous websites on the internet.

There is one superb database that I use all the time, the link is below.

This is an extremely comprehensive database with many facilities, check it out.

If you are aware of any others that you would wish to include, please feel free to add them to this thread.

One of the many facilities that this database has is interactive pictures.

Take for an example Bianca Freire, one of my favourite shemales, if you scroll down to her name and click on it you come to a screen with her image at the top. If you then click on Bianca's face you are taken to a full body shot of her, awesome.

One possible improvement could be the inclusion of DVD covers, what do you think?

Another of it's unique facilities is an interactive list of female/shemale pairings. This is most helpful if you're trying to identify the DVD from which a specific clip comes.

What's this about your height, have you checked your entry in the database, they have you as being 5'7" (170cm) tall, is that correct or are you, in fact, shorter?

Are all the other details they've included about you accurate?

I think it's an intimidation/sexual identity thing, Vicki. 6' + = Male in many minds so a gurl will downplay her height to cancel that out. I once dated a GG that was 6'3" (Olympic b-ball contender) and it was disheartening to see how she purposely slouched when out in public (Yet, in private, or among friends, she always stood straight up).

Have many of you checked out the featured database?

There are alternative ways of finding out who's who in the shemale world but they are not very user-friendly or as comprehensive.

For example, some of the sites supply lists, with photos, of the shemale models they have filmed and photographed.

However, a head shot of a shemale with her name attached, doesn't make identification all that easy. Unless they're well known, some of them tend to look very similar with a confusing galaxy of names.

Yes, I created and maintain that database with the help of the occasional visitors, who contribute their informational data. With my thanks.

In the first place I created the database because I found that nothing similar existed. I also tried to made it as straightforward as I could manage. (index-list, visual-list, filmography, now expanded with head-popup and link-through).
Other sites like the IAFD or Adult Film Database mainly concentrate on mainstream porn.
That's maybe why you, and hopefully many other people like it also. It's just meant to be informational, without distracting banners or other space-filling attributes.

BTW,to answer your question, you probably visited the site since I updated it, so it's still in your browser's cache, so to see Yasmin Lee in the left-handed index, just hit the refresh-button on your browser and the info will be up-to-date.

Here's a few thoughts that you may or may not choose to consider.

How about the DVD front and back covers? The upside is more visual aids and perhaps sponsorship. The downside is more webspace needed and possible slower loading time.

How about regional groupings N & S America, Europe, Middle East, Asia, etc.?

That'll do for the moment.

To answer your questions.
1. DVD-covers.
This will not be possible. Although I have gathered many DVD-covers from sources which have at this moment already disappeared, there's the issue of copyright-infringement (ok, bodyshots are also under that category, but they are in the minority).
Furthermore I'm not sure if my current hosting service (newsguy.com) would allow this, since some covers show, what some may call indecent coverage.
Although I'm European-based, I'm not sure that the laws instated by the Fascist Bush-government wouldn't affect me in some degree.
One reason more that our American friends should oppose this criminal.
2.Regional Groupings.
Not possible, because Transsexuals are quite international based. Many Brazilians have come to Europe or the US to develop their further career.
And anyway, lets not classify people in where they came from, the power of TS-girls is that they embody in them a universal quality that exists in every society. No pun intended.

Hi all,

Yet another neat feature of the database is in the shemale star's filmography.

If you click on any of the DVD titles, attributed to a particular star, a separate screen comes up which shows the cast list. Those cast members who don't have an entry in the database, their names are greyed out. Where other cast members have an entry in the database a pass of the curser will show a snapshot picture of that star. A click will take you to that star's entry in the database.

yes, both my house(where my mom and brothers lived) and my dad's house were destroyed. alot has changed, ive been living in baton rouge for a while(to attend college) but i still lost pretty much all of my possessions which were in new orleans. my dad's house has been cleaned out and redone, and hes moved back in already thankfully. im still working on my house, hopefully it'll be done by november so my mom and brothers can move back in. it still looks deserted and its depressing. my life has changed a lot, but things are getting better and we'll get through this.

Yes, it seems that some distributors have the nick of misspelling the names of their stars incorrect. This is a general problem with transsexuals movies. The reason is unknown to me. But it was already noticed.

A bigger problem. It seems my web hosting service has lost all the files on the database. As you may have noticed, access is no longer possible.
I can easily fix the problem, but to do that, my website host has to fix a problem on his side, so I need to wait for that.

That's very tough. I don't know what is worse, this happening, or the government not coming through with their promise to fix things.

Anyhow, I have received an answer from my web host.
Some PHP-script(s) seemed to overload their servers. That was the reason why they disabled the site (without notifying me!!). I have a good idea which one, so I need to do some adaptions on the site, and then convince them to reactivate the site so I can submit the new pages. So, it still may take a couple of days.
