The posted pics from some of our fine posters show up as Imagebam images which if I click on takes me to Imagebam.com where the image is blurred out and it says Click To Continue To the Image (or something like that) but I get pop-ups and Jasmine HD advertisements & etc. - and sometimes those things stay in the background and I don't know they're there until I close my browser (Firefox or Explorer). Is this how it works for everybody?

You can get a pop-up blocker (Adblock) from Firefox to disable those...

Those will be deleted if I find them.
Upload images direct to this site.

...this happens to me all the time in my travels around the various "adult" interwebs...here's what I do:
when you click the Continue to Image link, you will notice a blink or a hiccup or sorts...immediately hit the minimize button in the upper right of your main window to reveal the ad page underneath. Immediately hit the red x close button on the ad, even before it loads....which will leave you w/ your desktop. Then just re-maximize the original page and your image should be there. 9 times out of 10 it's that fucken Live Jasmine which, even if they get a quarter a click they must be richer that god b/c it pops up a bajillion times...I find it easier to do that than download and install the various ad and pop-up blockers that usually don't do what they say anyways.
... It's kind of a pain in the ass extra coupla steps but it's pretty much the fact of life in the porn world these days and what's a po boy to do ?

wubwub: I will also refrain from naming the poster I believe you mean but I have learned that when I see that members name, I know to NOT click on any of the many, many great pics because it will lead me to Imagebam.

It's not difficult to work out who the member in question is, but it would be a lot of work deleting all of his posts...

It would be one button if I had the mind to.

The Post-Op threads are almost all Imagebam links. More and more the other threads include Imagebam links as well...or is this not what you're talking about? Ads or not, I'd rather not click on pics which are linked elsewhere without being warned first that they are links. If I'd knew ahead of time I was going to be taken to Imagebam, I wouldn't click on the pic.

Well, I've sent him a PM linking to this thread, which he's obviously ignored and continued posting imagebam links. So if it happens, he can't claim not to have had fair warning. :shrug

I'm sorry, I have not followed this thread. Imagebam has never given me any problems in any forum. Even the pics you post in this forum do not give me problems. I do not understand why it happens to many people. Recommended another hosting and I will use it. Meanwhile I suspend my posts

You can upload images direct to hungangels, there's no need to use a seperate image hosting site. I've already given you a link to a guide to how to go about it.

It helps if you actually read other peoples posts and PM's...;)

Ok I learned. I find it very restrictive, but never mind:roll:

OK...sorry but I guess I must be missing something
....afraid I just don't see what the problem is on either side of this issue. I use the Manage Attachments feature to upload images to HA from my hard drive all the time. It's a piece o cake which I don't find "restrictive" in any way.
....by the same token, in my wanderings thru the various porn forums, I must click on a thousand Imagebam linx (well, probly closer to a hundred depending how much free time I've got to kill and what kind of luck I'm having) which can be a bit annoying but really ain't no thang either...ya just close the goddam Live Jasmine pop-under and move on and just chilll
....life's too damn short to sweat the small stuff

With Imagebam I choose the image and then decide where to put it. So I have to choose from a topic and force a picture of that genre

That statement makes absolutely no sense...

You can still post any pictures in any thread you want. The only difference is that you upload them onto here rather than link through imagebam.

The only real restriction in uploading is that .jpegs have to be under 1 MB. Not really an issue as you can always resize them if necessary.

Ok I learned. I find it very restrictive, but never mind:roll:

It took me one or two times but once I learned how to upload directly to hungangels I found it to be very easy to use and not at all restrictive. Hopefully, you will find the same to be true and you will resume posting.

I choose a photo from my archive and decide where to post it. If I start with a tread sceglire I have to force a photo of that genre

Dude, I've sent you two very polite PM's with no response and have commented on this thread trying to be polite and encouraging. Now I have to ask: What is your fucking problem? What is this incomprehensible bullshit gibberish about starting a 'tread sceglire' and having to force a photo of that genre? You have time to post all these pictures, how about taking the time to do it according to the site rules like everyone else. I figured out how to post directly to HA because I don't want to fuck up anyone else's experience on this site due to my laziness by linking to potential sites that might be corrupt. To the guy who thinks it's no big deal, it isn't just a matter of X-ing out the 'Live jasmine' pop up for everyone. Imagebam has been a problem with mal-ware and spy-ware for me in the past and I will wager I am not unique in that respect.

Nonsense, the site doesn't force you to do anything. The thread topics/genres have all been created by members like yourself. You can quite easily post pictures of small cocks in the big cocks thread or big cocks in the small cocks thread, topless girls in the bra thread, etc... You might get some odd comments from other members, but the picture upload system won't stop you from doing it.

Again, there is no difference to what you have already been posting except for uploading to the site rather than hotlinking to imagebam.

Ps. You also need to learn to read your private messages...

....OK fine...I guess I stand corrected on that. I'll just say this: I've had this computer since around 2000 I guess....so long ago I don't even recall when I bought it....still running fine w/ WinXP. In all that time I must have been directed to Imagebam links a million times. Never once ( aside from that damn Live Jasmine annoyance) have I had any problems, and certainly no spyware, virus or malware of any kind. Nor was I aware of anyone else w/ those kinds of issues until I came across this thread. After reading these posts, it would appear I've somehow just been lucky I guess. I'm gonna go out and get me a Lotto ticket I think.
...bottom line....direct from my non-Imagebam HA folder...
