Agreed. I've come across plenty of women in general who are just not into black guys, period. For the most part its just about preference and they have a choice in the matter so its better to let it be known. As a rule of thumb I always ask just to get it out of the way, the cool chicks will make a "Why the hell are you asking me that?" face which is an answer on its own, the straight up ones will tell you whats up.

You can be proud of who you are without being proud of your race. Content yes, but proud? Why? Does race alone define an individual? I think not as I am a firm believer that everyone is an individual regardless of race.

Being proud of an accomplishment makes sense. Being proud of race is just another form of ignorance.

Race only exists for those who want it to. Those who think they are better than someone else because of race and the stereotypes that are attached to it. Or those who blame others for their position in life because of race. Does racism exist? Sure. It likely always will.
