I'm writing a romantic comedy called Carnival (its about a guy suffering from depression going to Brasil during Lent) I would like to go to Brasil for research but I would like to go during Carnival (since the story takes place during Carnival) Should I go then or just early summer? Another thing is that I don't know anybody in Brasil nor do I speak Portuguese, who should be a better guide there?
