I have a old profile account I haven't logged into in years and now I'm unable to log into it... any reason why?

I wanted my old account. I was unable to log in my old account b4 I created this one. Not really that huge of a deal I guess just wanted to know if that account got inactive or something cuz I haven't logged in it in years
