Was looking over a couple of Transsexual Cam sites over the weekend, and it brought to my mind a couple of questions:

1) How much money are the Girls able to make over time?
2) How many hours per day/week does it take to make the money?
3) I suppose it is better than actually having to be an escort/stripper?
4) Why does it seem like 80% of the Transsexual Cams from Columbia?

Initially it might seem like a dream job (sit nearly naked in front of a Cam and make money), but doing it day after day would seem very boring. Saw an american porn star on Friday (transsexual and she looked miserable trying to wring tips out of people).

Plus you have to continually cajole tips out of the audience. And there must be pressure to think up different things to on Cam.

Just curious from any insights.

I'd be interested too, but boring for a job is not as bad as some other options.

Where did you come up with your point number 3? how would it be easier to make in one day what most ts could make in 1 hour? I have a friend who was doing camsites and she gave up cause she released it was too time consuming and escorting was just simply better. why wait for a check to clear through a middle man when you could get the cash in your hand before you even have to take your clothes off.

Regarding #3 -- I was thinking about personal safety. A lot harder to get mugged or catch some dread disease through the camera.

Your correct the trade off is safety vs money. It honestly depends on how the girl would like her income.

Some of the gg's are making hundreds of thousands $$ per year and much more they would make in porn or escorting without the risks or body contact with weirdos. A select few ts seem to do ok but nothing like gg's. I've seen them spend hours per day online and on other sites promoting themselves. It seems like it's similar to building a business or brand and it takes a lot of time and effort. I think it would be great for a student or as a supplemental income but not a full time job and career like many have made it into. It seems like it will be short lived and people will get sick of you and move onto the newcomers as they do in porn. As far as the Colombia thing goes, I guess there are tons of TS in S. America and a lack of jobs and money in undeveloped countries so the webcam thing is worth a try and maybe make some good hard cash for a while. But you're right, it looks like hustling for money for hours per day on a webcam gets really boring and a grind. I guess that's why so many start out great and don't last or quit for a long time.

It seems that even if you come up with a great "on cam" persona and have an arsenal "special tricks" (self-sucking, big dildo, etc.) the audience will move on to the newest/freshest girl.

It is kind of like being David Copperfield making an elephant disappear the first time or two you see the tick you think its great, but after that it is as boring as seeing someone pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

If its a cheap trick it gets old, but webcam is more about entertainment for bored and lonely guys. Some girls earn year after year, but it isn't for everyone.

I used to cam as my main source of income. I have a regular job now, which uses my degree. I'll reply inline, in red

Was looking over a couple of Transsexual Cam sites over the weekend, and it brought to my mind a couple of questions:

1) How much money are the Girls able to make over time? Varies greatly
2) How many hours per day/week does it take to make the money? Varies greatly, but there is a fair amount of down time during public shows, and between private shows.
3) I suppose it is better than actually having to be an escort/stripper? Depends who you ask. I have a friend who is an escort. She thinks I was turning down free money for choosing webcam instead of taking escorting opportunities.
4) Why does it seem like 80% of the Transsexual Cams from Columbia? Exchange rates and poverty mostly from what I gather.

It takes a certain personality and skills.

Plus you have to continually cajole tips out of the audience. And there must be pressure to think up different things to on Cam. Not really. I had a rotation of a few games I would play. And I rotated between sites too, so I could do the almost the same show for a different audience. Also joking around with people comes naturally to me.

Just curious from any insights.

I met my best friend over a decade ago on a cam site. She used to make a very good living doing cam full time. She never promoted herself and basically got made up and waited for guys (like me) to take her to private. She has a regular job now that doesn't pay as well but she's much happier. Escorting and sex work took a toll on her soul.
Cam sites that allow people to loiter aren't really as conducive to income as the old sites were, IMO. On iFriends you had to pay to see basically anything. Today you can go the Chaturbate and bust a good nut for free.
I don't know if Colombians are in to trafficking, but most of them are definitely working out of the same studio and drugs like weed and coke seem to be readily available.
