My favorite line by Bush:

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."

So far as laughter is concerned, this guy really is the gift that keeps on giving.

SAT: Bush 1206 Kerry 1190

httpencyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/List%20of%20people%20by%20SAT%20score

New Yorker Magazine and UPI in articles from January of 2004.

-- Bush's SAT scores are higher than Bill Bradley's, Paul Wellstone's, and John Kerry's.

-- Bush scored a 1206 on his SAT, 566 of 800 on verbal and 640 of 800 on math. [Since the SAT's scale has since been "recentered," Bush's score is more like a 1300 today.]

-- Bush's verbal score would place him between the 84th and 92nd percentile of college-bound students, or the 93rd to 97th percentile of ALL high-school seniors taking the exams, the percentile usually used.

-- His math score would also place him between the 84th and 92nd percentile of college-bound students, or the 94th to 98th percentile of ALL high-school seniors taking the exams, the percentile usually used.

-- Using one method to extract IQ's from these SAT scores, Bush's IQ would be somewhere between 124 and 137. The top six percent of Americans.

-- We all hear of Bush's supposed college mediocrity, but in reality his "worst" courses were two C-minus scores. Accounting for grade inflation, Bush's worst grades are around today's B-minuses.

Recentered SAT: 1300 IQ: 124-137

"Does anyone in America doubt that Kerry has a higher IQ than Bush? I'm sure the candidates' SATs and college transcripts would put Kerry far ahead."

Howell Raines
 Former Executive Editor of the New York Times

Bush had received a cumulative score of 77 at Yale, Kerry got a cumulative 76 for his four years.

What`s a scarborough ?
From Joe's web site
http://www.joescarborough.com/
with some additions from Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Scarborough

Congressman Joe Scarborough works for MSNBC as cable news host for “Scarborough Country.” He also provides on air political commentary for MSNBC, CNBC, and NBC's Today Show.

Congressman Scarborough was elected to the US Congress in 1994, becoming the first Republican elected in Florida's First District since 1872. Scarborough was re-elected three more times, in landslide victories. While on Capitol Hill, he worked with a small group of freshmen the National Journal cited for having acquired unusual power and influence given their short time in Washington. Scarborough, who signed the Contract with America, was part of the 1994 Republican takeover of the House, led by Newt Gingrich. Scarborough was one of a group of about 40 GOP freshmen legislators who dubbed themselves the "New Federalists" after the Federalist Papers. Scarborough was elected Political Director of the incoming legislators. The New Federalists called for sweeping cuts in the US government, including plans to "privatize, localize, consolidate, [or] eliminate" the Departments of Commerce, Education, Energy and Housing and Urban Development, but were largely unsuccessful in their goals. Scarborough was a fiscal conservative who continually pushed his party to force more reductions in the size and scope of the federal government.
Scarborough sponsored a bill to force the US to withdraw from the United Nations after a four year transition[ and voted to make the Corporation for Public Broadcasting "self-sufficient" by eliminating federal funding for the CPB. He also voted for the "Medicare Preservation act of 1995 which cut the projected growth Medicare by $270 billion over ten years, and against the "Small Business Job Protection Act of 1996"which raised the minimum wage to $5.15

While in Congress, Scarborough served on the Armed Services Committee, the Judiciary Committee, Government Reform and Oversight, and the Education Committee. In 1998, he was named Chairman of the Civil Service Committee. . Scarborough had a conservative voting record on economic, social, and foreign policy issues but was seen as moderate on environmental issues and human rights causes. He received numerous awards, including: the "Friend of the Taxpayer Award" from Americans for Tax Reform; the "Guardian of Small Business Award" from the National Federation of Independent Business; the "Spirit of Enterprise Award" from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; the "Taxpayer's Hero Award" from the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste.

In 1999, Scarborough founded and published the award-winning newspaper The Florida Sun .

In May, 2001, Joe retired from Congress to spend more time with his children, practice law, and launch a cable news program.

After leaving office, he was named by President Bush as a member of the President's Council on the 21st Century Workforce, where he served with Labor Secretary Chao, national labor officials, and business leaders.

The short answer to the question is that Scarborough is a well credentialed conservative Republican with ties to the Bush Administration.

And now the rest of the story. There`s a reason this guy`s rating are in the toilet.

Nutcase intern-killer Joe Scarborough has never pulled the ratings that Donohue did... http://www.theleftcoaster.com/archives/000451.php

Joe "intern killer" Scarborough said that? http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=104x4190887#4191353

Joe Scarborough had recently resigned from Congress prematurely and unexpectedly, amid rumors about his marital fidelity and soon after a divorce. He had also abruptly resigned as publisher of the Independent Florida Sun, claiming that resigning from Congress and as publisher was necessary to spend more time with his sons.http://www.oldamericancentury.org/lori_klausutis.htm

Not to mention they were both C students at Yale.

And FYI, the difference between a 1206 and an 1190 is basically like Bush omitted a question, and Kerry got that same question wrong, so again as Quinn said, they are both idiots.

But WMC - because Kerry is dumb too doesn't make Bush any smarter, or more fit to run this country, sorry..

Lori Klausutis

Another intern death received very little media attention outside the congressional district of former U.S. Congressman Joe Scarborough in Northwest Florida.

Lori Klausutis was an intern who had been working in Congressman Scarborough's office as a constituent services coordinator since May, 1999. Due to Congressman Scarborough's shocking announcement he was retiring from Congress, Lori was excited about a new job possibility. She was married, lived in a nice home and was active in her Catholic Church congregation. Lori's husband, Dr. Timothy Klausutis worked in research and development at Eglin AFB. A seemingly idyllic life - until the morning of July 19, 2001 when Lori was found dead in Scarborough's congressional offices.

Lori's death was ruled accidental. Conflicting statements were released to the local press by Dr. Michael Berkland, the medical examiner, who reached this conclusion: Dr. Berkland, speculated that Lori had suffered an abnormal heart rhythm, due to a previously undiagnosed heart condition, causing her to fall, striking her head against a desk. This caused a blow to the head severe enough to cause death.

Many found this finding disturbing as there was a 7 1/2" gash on the wrong side of her head where she supposedly fell and hit it on a desk. Further dissatisfaction was expressed due to Dr. Berkland's own questionable background:

He was fired as Medical Examiner in Jackson County Missouri in 1996. In 1998 the state of Missouri revoked his license to practice for a minimum of six years. He was suspended as Medical Examiner in Florida for having failed to report that he was under investigation. The revocation of his license imperiled at least nine criminal convictions in Missouri.

In Special Report published on American Politics Journal, August 8, 2001, "Never Bound by the Truth", Chris George and Denis Wright further supplied proof of Dr. Berkland's troubling medical history including two cases in which a reversal of judgment has been sought based on false testimony by Dr. Berkland. While the case is officially closed, there continues to be a demand that it be reopened and an impartial investigation be conducted.

Rumors and speculation ran wild in Scarborough County regarding a relationship between Lori and Joe. Despite his recent reelection in 2000, a scant few months later, amidst rumors of infidelity with an office worker and then divorce, Scarborough shocked everyone by announcing his retirement from Congress. His job as publisher of the Independent Florida Sun also became part of his past when Scarborough announced his resignation in order to spend more time with his sons.

Joe Scarborough can now been seen weeknights on MSNBC as host of Scarborough Country.

I sat in on a Mensa dinner a couple year's back and never, in my entire life, did I witness such incredible stoopidity from people that were supposedly "smart".

Just because you pass a test with high scores doesn't make you intelligent.
