seems a 41 y/o school teacher has from the U.S. has been apprehended in Thailand in connection to the case.............reports are coming in that this guy is the possible murderer

IMO it sucks that months after Patsy Ramsey passes away after enduring living through years of accusations thrown towards her they find this guy.........

oh, by the way the tabloid that led to this person's discovery: The National Enquirer

according to MSNBC Patsy Ramsey was aware of this "person of interest" in Thailand, before her death.

It was a really disturbing case that has always sent a shiver down my spine, it was sad how the police orchestrated the media to conduct a witchunt on the parents, I hope this clears there name for good. I've got a feeling the killer was known by the family, we will have to wait and see.

It was only 10 years ago. I'd be surprised if anyone couldn't remember back that far, unless of course you were a kid yourself.

It'd be nice to see the bastard fry, not only for killing Jon Benet, but for putting the family through all that they have been through for the past 10 years. Alas, he is claiming that it was a kidnapping gone awry, making it a 2nd degree murder = no death penalty.

It sucks for the Ramseys to have been accused for all of those years of killing their own daughter, even if the speculation was that it was accidental. That this arrest took place so soon after Patsy Ramsey's death makes it all the more unfortunate.

A report on the radio says he was some pedophile school teacher obsessed with JonBenet. He had previously been arrested for child pornography on his computer. The official statement from the Thai police is that on the night in question he was attempting to kidnap her, but something went wrong and he strangled her. He is claiming then that he should be charged with 2nd degree, accidental murder, rather than 1st degree murder. Doesn't sound too much like a fucking accident to me.

What's worse is that his brother at first tried covering for his sick ass by saying they were together that night 10 years ago, and that he knew so many unreleased details because he was researching to write a book on the case.

and what's WORST is that this all happens after Patsy's death - since she couldn't be alive to be vindicated of the crime.

The only thing that worries me at the moment is the willingness of this guy to confess before he is even taken to trial, some of his statements so far sound deluded, I hope he is'nt some kind of fantasist.

Word has it that the Thai authorities were holding him for "...an unrelated sex crime...".

Judging by what I've seen on the news reports today, it appears that there is a good chance that he is a pedophile who may have made a false confession because he has been obsessed with the case for years.

I'm getting an uneasy feel about the whole thing here, think this might be one for the record books, getting more bizarre by the hour

If he does turn out to be innocent, he wouldn't be the first wacko to confess to a high-profile crime he didn't commit.

Your right about that Quinn, I saw a story online, where his wife or ex wife, said he was with her in Alabama on the night in question.

Not to mention the fact that the Colorado journalism professor (a long-time Ramsey family advocate) who had been corresponding with this freak, and fed the info to authorities, is coincidentally about to release a book...

And if as reported, this pedophile actually said he picked her up at school (it was Xmas), and also said that he drugged her(contrary to autopsy reports)...it keeps looking sketchier...

This pedophile, a fem looking version of Boo Radley, was also obsessed with the Polly Klaas murder...

Sad to say, but it looks like just another blind alley in this mystery...

He is probably just trying to get sent back to USA to avoid those trials and jails in Thailand.

I don't trust this guy, he looks too much like Morrissey... and anyone who looks like or is named Morrissey is untrustworthy in my book and not a real man.

"Unrelated sex crime" means he digs kids and sex tourism.

I don't buy this scumbags story. I think he knows he's up shit creek and is using his confession to get out of Thailand and to quench his narcissistic need for attention and the spotlight.

That said, put him in with la eme and let them straighten his ass out.

Sweet Fancy Moses...er...Morrissey!! It appears as though this lad who calls himself TFan and posts on a TS forum is teetering on the brink of yet another 'Am I Gay' thread...so go for it...you manly man, you!!

this guy might know something about the murder via his correspondence with the actual murderer, but i dont believe he killed her. i believe that he was faces with 10 or so years ( if he made it) in a Thai prison, or 10 years in a US prison, if he could shed some light in Jon Benet's murder.
getting to the US was foremost in his mind.
one other thing, his name was released aout 7pm before 8 pm (est) a picture of him from his family was availible! there is no love lost between them!

I've just heard breaking news that this guys DNA does not match blood found at the scene and the rumour is he will not be charged in connection to the crime. This is what I was worried about, the guys just a fantasist.

Well......now that that weird little fembot of a man isn't going to be charged with JonBenet's murder, I guess the focus will go back to where the original investigating detectives think it should be: the Ramseys (even if one of them is now dead).

Since it's been 10 yrs., can someone refresh my memory on the motive the parents might have done it?

It's been long enough that I no longer recall the specific details myself; however, as I remember it, the detectives were working on the theory that Patsy had accidentally killed her daughter. It was believed that much of the "evidence" at the crime scene (basement) was staged to cover up JonBenet dying elsewhere in the house.

That's certainly the stuff books and movies are made of, geez. I wonder if the ramsays DNA figured into the panties? And how do you accidently kill your daughter, and then cover it up with a smashed skull? No wonder the cops never put it all together and made an arrest. It's pretty bizarre all the way around.

As far as Karr goes, since he didn't have airfare to get home, he did the next best thing, volunteer to be the killer for the free ride home

The Karr guy is sick. What would cause him to falsey confess to such a crime? Does he really desire attention that much?

08-29-2006, 04:26 AM
No surprise. Reading the language that this guy used I was already convinced. This man is no killer. He's too weasly and manipulative to be capable of cold blooded murder.
