Raffi Freedman-Gurspan, formerly Policy Advisor to the (US) National Center for Transgender Equality has been appointed Outreach and Recruitment Director for the Presidential Staff in the White House. This is being seen as a move by the Obama administration to give its own recruitment practice an all-inclusive appearance, but in fact confirms that Ms Freedman-Gurspan is qualified for the job having had previous experience in state political office in Massachussetts.
