What is the medical and psych. threshold in the States and Canada where a pre-adolescent can be a candidate for HRT to surpress secondary sex charactaristics to ensure a smooth transition in adulthood. While I have read much about that point would make the transition much more sucessful and remove much of the burdens of later transition, there seems to be scan information on what it takes here to start that process. I would also be interested in what threshold other countries medical and psychiatric communites have established. Also, if anyone has information on what potential side effects would occur at that age. Both are pretty well documented in mature adults, but I have yet to encounter any litterature that's not freely available without a subscription to an academic or professional journal service that would provide any insight to early transition.

Blockers may be started as young as 12, but estrogen not until 14 or older depending on the doctor and psych, but most won't due to potential legal lawsuits. Why the heck are you on a porn website looking for scholarly articles?

Kim Petras began medical treatment when she was like 11 or 12

The is for Germany and was an exception since she had to get so many approvals to bend the rules.

Why the heck are you on a porn website looking for scholarly articles? Did you read my post? This is information that's not that readily found short of academia or medical journals. None of which are readily accessible. There are probably more people on this board that are knowledgeable about this subject then any other source combined.
