In all seriousness, I think she was talking about spelling, typos, and message quality. My experience is that people who speak a second language have more difficulty with syntax and grammar and the mistakes are consistent (adjective after noun etc.).

On webcam it's very obvious when someone is one-handed typing... not that I mind in that instance lol
