ABC Family’s television drama “The Fosters” broke new ground this week, with a kiss between two 13-year-old characters named Jude and Connor.


The kiss may qualify as the youngest same-sex kiss to ever air on U.S. television, according to the Huffington Post.

‘The Fosters’ follows the story of an interracial lesbian couple raising a blended family of biological, adopted and foster children. The series was awarded best Outstanding Drama Series at the 2014 GLAAD Awards.
