A lot of gay men do have animosity towards transsexuals but I don't think it's for that reason though. They perceive the whole TS genre in porn as being a way for closet gay men to stay in the closet.

A lot of male pornstars who work for gay sites have refused to have sex with a man, but rather a TS girl, which elicits a lot of negativity for both parties. It's as if gay men are viewed as unwanted in society, and even their own porn. If anything I've found stars like Leo Forte or Sebastian Keys to be very openminded in their scenes.

Transsexuals are women, they view themselves as such and so does the bulk of the gay world. Hence, by performing with a transsexual, it's easier for them to claim to be straight since ,at least in the gay world, it would be perceived as heterosexual sex.

I personally disagree with that characterization and actually find such a genre rather beautiful though I can agree with accusations of fetishisation. But hey it's porn!

It seems that once you cross the "threshold", if there even is one, you're viewed with great suspicion. Case in point, Leo Forte did a really hot scene with TS Foxxy, and then a whole deluge of accusations of him being "gay for pay" arose.

I totally blew my chance with Venus last night. She had a profile up on a dating sight, and was looking for guys comfortable fucking in front of the cam.
