hello everyone - so there was a power outage in LA yesterday. unfortunately it directly hit the data center where myspace's servers are located. lots of people were affected. the backup power failed and that's why myspace has been screwy since yesterday afternoon. we are still working to get everything back in order. i know what most of the problems are, it's just giong to take awhile to fix them. thx for your patience!

It's true, power outages related to the triple digit temperatures here in LACALIFUSA took out MySpace, depriving millions of MySpacers their opportunity to mis-spell, misrepresent themselves and misbehave online for too brief a time Saturday night and Sunday Morning.

I got same thing Angela.
It started with a few friends showing up as either closed or deleted their account msg. then when I tryed to chance top friends list and made the changes, when tryed to go back to my profile; I got msg that my account was del. :<

I hope they fix it.

At least you can log-in. I can't. I was able to log-in to my second account, but not my main one. Its wierd because I still have myself on my friends list. Fucking myspace.
