End of Summer...how did you spend yours?

i wrote a paper and got it rejected by j neuroscience without revisions so now i am retooling it for another journal. that's how i spent my summer.

thankfully, i am going to take a week off and go to aruba on 9/5. i can't believe how inexpensive it is because it is "hurricane season"

somehow, i think being naked by a pool will trump nearly every way that most people here spent their summer

summer, according to my wife, never really came this year because the temperature has been so moderate (at least in nyc).

plus, don't the kiddies go back to school next week wednesday...that is the unofficial end of summer.

Well, there has been no Summer in Paris: nothing but rain, gloom, and little sun. In my opinion, Paris is the new London, weather wise. And as Diana Vreeland said, 'The best thing about London, is Paris!'. :)

Everyone constantly complains about the weather in Paris, and of course London, but frankly it is better when it is cool. Those are two cities that DO NOT function well when it is hot.

to be specific as to what i did, i came back from LA two months ago, spent majority of the time with friends who i havent seen in a year, family, and going back and forth from NY to NJ. played alot of sports, went to the beach a couple of times, and got prepared for school
