A lot depends on how well you can get by in Spanish.

Self catering apartments are defo the way to go if you plan a serious whoring trip anywhere in Latin America (or Europe for that matter.) It's a long time since I was in Latin America but from what I hear nothing's changed-- even hotels that might let you in with a GG you picked up won't let you in with a TG "escort," because of the bad rep they have. By the time you pay for short-time hotels the cost of an apartment soon gets paid.

The downside of an apartment is if the girl decides to rob you, you're on your own. Many rental apts have a safe: try to find one that does and use it.

I see a lot of ads for girls with their own apartments in Brazil and Argentina.
