I'm pissed off. Since reading some transphobic posts by a couple of idiots I am annoyed.

Why would anyone other than a complete coward who's scared of his own shadow feel the need to come in and abuse people who are already marginalised by an uncaring population? The Gay Agenda has been well established, but trans people of all varieties are still considered freaks by many.

Some points about TV/TS/TG people, and first of all is that they are just like everyone else: they have hopes, fears, ambitions, dislikes and loves.

Half-brained morons like to chant "it's not natural!" in their ignorance of an animal world where hermaphroditism and changing sex are as common as earthworms and mice. Yes, even some mammals can change sex.

Unfortunately, humans cannot do that, and I wonder if there's anything more self-tortuous and self-destructive than hating the body you were born in. This is why TV/TG/TS people have such a high suicide rate - they are shunned by society and people in society and often don't even have self-love to enable a semblance of happiness.

We create a fantasy world in porn, where trans people are sex objects, but how many of the men who watch trans porn and use trans prostitutes would hire or work next to a trans person? While not ideal, porn is at least one industry where trans people can be taken seriously, but when did you last see a trans person in your local bank? Or a trans cop? Or trans doctor/nurse/accountant/lawyer?

My daughter attends year 11 school and has one classmate of each trans gender - a MTF and a FTM. We've known the FTM young chap since long before he began transitioning and I cannot imagine anything more difficult for a human being to cope with than being born female and transitioning to male.

As a society, we value male sex organs so highly that there is an entire industry built on the soft cocks of the wieners who can no longer get it up. There's even a name for it - "Erectile Dysfunction". How dysfunctional will the FTM trans be when he won't even have a penis?

The revolting world of psychiatry has a lot to answer for, with even the latest edition of the toilet-paper-quality DSM still listing transgender issues as "gender dyphoria". Wrap it in any name you like, it still marks trans people as "different" from other people, and that is a blatant lie.

Just as some people are thin, tall, short fat or wrinkled, trans people are just people. They require double the normal amount of courage, and that's just to live life day by day.

It's time we all started showing trans people that we value them first as people.
