Is there a "market" for post op trans porn? Or a demand in escort services?
I know it has been done in the past but how successful were these endeavours?

Sorry if this seems like a silly post... I am coming up on a year post op and I kinda feel like if I wanted to get my chance in the industry I probably should have done so before

Sincerely,
20something year old lurker

Kimber James seems to be doing well post-op.

I also saw a post-op provider a few years ago. Lost her number and she stopped advertising. :(

Encouraging. I am in need of money for university (lol I swear) so maybe I can figure something out

I know quite a few post-op girls. (I'm in the UK). None of them were motivated to have full srs with a view to a porn or escort career, but saw it entirely as the final step to achieving the full womanhood they'd always believed was their due. And they all, without exception, have pretty ordinary jobs or professions and some are in long-term loving relationships.

Maybe you could follow that path too.

Whatever you decide, the very best of luck.

Its just as a teen I wanted to do porn but I took another life path.
Since SRS is covered by healthcare that was also enticing.
Would do it more as a part time job/side gig of sorts while in school to pay the bills.
Just thinking out loud, even if I were to get involved in the industry I very much doubt it would be forever and ever

Lots of girls say that, and then get in way over their heads. Porn isn't for everyone, and it's ruined a lot of lives. You need a good business head and a thick skin. Think about it carefully.

I'm not an expert on the industry. Speaking as a working TS cam girl, more guys are interested in my penis than anything else. Its not all guys want to see (they like feet, butt, legs, boobs, etc), but its rare that a guy looks for TS camgirl, and doesn't want to see penis. Personally that doesn't bother me, and your experience may different from mine.

I'm okay with the idea, but I watch Tgirl porn for the anal. I liked Reesa Noi's scene in America's Next Top Tranny

And to be honest, I liked how Kimber James' cock looked in her scenes. Esp. Reverse Cowgirl

Indeed, "necessary but not sufficient".

There is a market on it but you'd likely get less shoots than a non-op. Read my blog posts at http://www.grooby.com/seanchai/ (if your only reason to do it, is to make a bit money - then probably you should do something else) - and if still wanting, then the model application details are there also.
Thanks

Dont waste your time doing it ...

There is no money as a model doing this work to be honest, unless your going to focus on doing a mixture of things such as escort/webcam/content sales and shoots and mix it all up and get them to feed each other abit etc , run it as a full time venture your just pissing in the wind financially to be honest ..

If your post op and no one has ever seen you online as a pre-op , and if you look really good then why even bother going in as a post op model , go in as a genetic girl and hit the main sites like brazzers/RK/Mofos/Evil Angel/Devils etc . . .

One of my post op friends shoots for most of them over the last few years :) though she has never once mentioned she is a Post Op as had no reason to.

Also add in the long term ramifications to your career choices in the main work world of doing porn as well, the risk really isn't justified with the earning potential you can make from this industry if your not going to focus on it fully.

I would offer the advise of, if you want some extra cash say like 500bucks a week to kick about with , then do some webcamming its not to hard to crack that money out in a few days messing about on cam , especially if you go in as a genetic girl and look half decent facially .

Thanks for all that and your honesty. You've given me hope. I am just a bit self conscious since I have scarring down there but I suppose it will get better (it hasn't even been a year). I guess I should put the "T" issues behind me and approach this work as a cis female since i've been told I feel the same down there anyways.

Thank you to everyone who posted advice its very much appreciated!

I don't think there is a big market for it, but for us guys who like it, we're incredibly loyal. The longest membership I've had to any site has been with Ladyboypussy.com Even when I've let other memberships go, I still go there. Even though I've got copies of my favorite parts of their content on my HD, there's still something about going out and seeing Wawa, Jesy, Jenny, and the girls who were there at the start, and getting introduced to new ladies there. I haven't seen new Wawa or Jesy sets in a while, at this point I'd pay for the shoots myself.

We're a small audience, but very appreciative.
