Hey,

I am just wondering if anyone knows where you can get original poppers in London these days. I don't mean Amil as that's been illegal for years.

I think the stuff that used to be the norm is called Butyl Nitrite, and that's what used to be the norm.

They changed it quite a few years ago an the ones that you get everywhere now are very different and give me a really sore nose.

The only place I know - which was in Old Compton St (Trashy Lingerie) closed down last month.

Anyone know anywhere?

rubber glue?

The old Amyl can occasionally be tracked down - I know of one girl who get's it sent from Holland i think. Butyl is horrible.... i stopped using it a long while ago because i always felt like i had a chest cold the next day

Yeah mine is from abroad too. But that place on Old Compton St was really handy for impulse buying.

Rubber glue sounds scary!

It is scary. I used to know a guy who would sniff that a lot and it came to the point you could not carry out a conversation with him...

I am not into poppers myself, but I was trying to buy acid used in chemical skin peeling in the past and it turned out that there were two ways of getting it:

From a cosmetic shop, in tiny home-made-looking glass vials, which were quite expensive and from a reagents shop - per kilo at about one tenth of the price.. Anyway if you know what you need, I'd go for the stuff with certifficates rather than some homebrew of unknown origin from under the counter, which may also be a harmful derrivative or something that just smells the same.

Thanks for the info RedVex. I reckon I might stick to the ones I know - rather than going down to B and Q for my poppers fix.

I would urge caution on poppers. I'm having 'eyesight/retina' problems. I could be totally wrong but my gut feeling is that previous use of poppers has, at least, contributed, if not more. As I say, only a 'gut' feeling.

Don't use poppers myself but, a friend recommends this lot...

(the rush is the one with the pea in the bottle, rather than the British formula).

How much/often have you used poppers in your life?

Isn't there a danger with mixing poppers with Viagra, Cialis, etc?

Yes , could lead to a precipitous drop in blood pressure , which leads to loss of consciousness , brain damage and death.

^ That probably needs to be mentioned in more of the "popper" threads around here.

Yes, I too get a little blurred vision after using poppers but because of the buzz it gives me, i tend to turn a blind eye (no pun intended)

LOL, "blind eye" good one !
Also bear in mind that on of the most common side-effects of the 'erectile dysfunction' medications like Cialis is also short term visual disturbances.
