I am sure I am holding out a tiny bit of false hope here, but I just came across this facebook profile for Lisa Kage, created in 2012, is this created by a fan, it can't be her can it? Because she passed away in 2007 wasn't it?

She was the closest TS friend I had and also the nicest I ever met, and I was really gutted when I heard the news.

I am sure its NOT the case, but is there any chance she actually just got out of the scene and faked her own death by rumors as it were?

Again, I don't mean to offend anyone, just wondered if anyone can shed light on this profile. I was so shocked when I saw her, I think if its a fanpage, its only right it should say so, its lovely she lives on via this and other social media, but at the same time, giving false hope isn't very nice

whoever created it has a very strange sense of humor. It clearly uses her pics but in no way does it celebrate her life or accomplishments.... doesn't even reference the fact that she passed away at such a young age. disturbing and disrespectful IMO

A sort of digital necrophilia. Creepy

This may be the first time I put it out there. I was a good friend of Lisas and there were a lot of things with her death that didn't sit true. There was no cause given, there was no service that anyone was invited to and on investigations with the help of a police friend or two, we couldn't find any evidence of her death. In short, just about the only evidence was a couple of emails, one from her "brother".

Lisa wasn't the typical porn girl of the time. She worked in real estate, she'd was mainly stealth, she was educated and most people who met her liked her. She was also a pretty awesome liar and a bit of a thief (a number of photographers including myself had things going missing). She was also a talented musician and working on a career there.

I saw this Facebook page as well as another profile eluding to the fact she was still alive and had just killed off her "Lisa Kage" persona. I've contacted these pages a few months asking for more information but yet to hear a response.

For me, the verdict is still out. I prefer to believe the one that she did just kill off her porn persona and is out there living a good life. I would like to have definitive proof before I believe otherwise.

That's an interesting, if it's true.

She is one of my all time favs.

I ran into a couple of her close friends at a monthly party soon after news of her death became known in our community and they seemed genuinely mournful, including Allanah. I was curious as to the cause but didn't feel comfortable pressing anyone for details as I thought it would just further upset them. If it was indeed a hoax I think very few people outside of her inner circle were privy to it.
It seems like going to an awful lot of trouble to erase footprints of a former persona, but in our digital work of endless connections faking one's death makes sense. we might never know.

Lisa and I actually met to discuss her singing and acting career and we were looking at working on a project together.

Now after Stevens comments it would be interesting to see if anyone can actually shed any more light on it? I guess if she did wanted to effectively erase the past then that's all the way to do it, but because she connected and left an impression with so many people, I just wish she could have gone about it another way.

Allanah is one of those I've spoke in depth about this, even the year of Lisa's death and she and I had came to the same thoughts. We pieced some of it together.

Fascinating. So if she had decided to shrug off the porn persona why would she then create a Facebook page. That still suggests it is the work of another.

As a student of the human race ... I'd suggest things may not have worked out as planned and still craving the attention.

Well she has a twitter account that is alive and kicking too.

https://twitter.com/ts_lisa_kage

I find it hard to believe this is indeed the work of an impersonator. the account here says 'retired and in exile'

If true, pigs fly, Elvis is alive, Hitler is 103 and living in Brazil, and Martians are on my rooftop. Oh, and Barbie Woods is going to post here

John,

While you may well take that view of sarcasm it seems on further inquiries she is indeed alive, and has among other places been working in Germany.

I was just thinking the same thing Prospero. Must be an imposter who created the page unless Lisa is really did fake her death and has decided for some reason to "resurrect" herself and is hoping the shock value will really increase her footpring in the industry. That seems far fetched though...

I've now seen recent pictures via someone else who spoke to her on Social Media.

I am convinced she is alive.

Going by the fact that the only proof of her death ever was one phone call made by a 'relative' that no one spoke to in person or knew I actually find comments about this being unlikely disingenuous to say the least. The facts are that there was never any proof of her actual death at all beyond the fact that it was announced via Social Media, people may recall before Larry Hagman actually did die, he death was accidentally announced due to a hoax that occurred some years earlier, it was so effective his death was even announced on the first edition of the BBC news.

Pretty much any TS on here could do the same thing, get someone to call someone else who works in either the TS adult industry and inform them they had died and we really wouldn't know any different. It's not like anyone from here is going to demand to see a medical report.

The question now is why?
