Often there's a penis measuring contest regarding who is or isn't relevant in TS porn. So here's my question (and let's talk about traits and NOT people - since that simply degenerates into so and so is hot):

What defines relevancy?

Is it the number of hardcore sets per year or do solo sets matter?
Do folks have relevancy if they shoot for only themselves or do you need to shoot with all the big companies?
Does past successes matter or is it only what you do today that counts?
How about DVD vs website vs c4s vs other online distribution methods? Is there a pecking order of importance?
Do you have any other thoughts of what makes someone "relevant" to the Industry?

relevancy = how hot the tgirl is. that's it. we can get technical into face or body types etc. but in general, that's what i go for. ALSO, none of the fake BS moans. i see some tgirls who look like (at least on cam) they are really enjoying being fucked (most of the time by christian lol) OR when i see chemistry with said performer(s). both actors really want to fuck each other passionately. you can see this sometimes in their body and eye language...as well as real moans...i still remember the one with Gia Darling when she was fucking christian and she was moaning and saying his name. good stuff. she was really into it

i notice that people fuck in videos sometimes to just fuck. WRONG. they forget they are fucking to arouse us. creampies are great but make them dirty. make the cum leak or ooze out of her asshole while your dick comes out. don't just let the cum disappear inside and have us wait for it to come out. anyway that's a personal preference but performers must remember they are doing this for us, not them. this can be generally relevant to porn but i see this sometimes (not most, but at times).

It's not how "we" as fans define the relevancy, it's how a model/performer defines themselves. So somebody defining themselves up a spokesperson - or claiming to know the industry well, really needs to have a track record and yes, be working recently.

1. Is a "pornstar" someone who only does solos? Aren't they JUST a model? More than amount, I'd say frequency.

2. Relevant to what? To talk about the industry and the big porn companies, then they should have a knowledge of the industry (and those companies) and not simply be solo producer.

3. Only if you're talking about the past. The industry is constantly moving and changing. You cannot be relevant about today's industry if your experience is years out of date.

4. Not really. Just exposure.

5. Again, it's how they define themselves. As a model? As an entertainer? There are plenty of such commentators whom I feel are irrelevant as they don't have a clue what they're talking about and are jumping to conclusions and assumptions based on their limited experience and unwilling to be educated on the matter.
