I think what you're viewing as stuck up and snobbish might be more of a function of this year's class of new faces doesn't have as much experience with meeting fans as some of the previous years. Many were simply just shy.

Not me yo...although I WILL admit I was a bit starstruck with a couple of the girls coughAubreyKatecough...which is odd since I've known about her since before she became Aubrey Kate.

I've been twice, but not this year and I thought everyone was extremely nice to me despite my unfriendly appearance. I'm shocked to hear you say otherwise. I think it's all in your mental attitude amigo. To put it into perspective, last year Sarina Valentina was hugging and hanging out with a paraplegic that was there. So I don't know what "stuck up" you're talking about, because I certainly couldn't disagree more with you.

Wendy - I think that was the main thing. BTW you were more than friendly to me.

To the OP, also realize that most of the girls are there to network and get more work lined up.

I arrived Thursday afternoon and besides for the awards events, I did Club Cobra and Hamburger Mary's. I knew in person 3 tgirls there when I arrived, and yes many people from here and FB that were only virtual. I felt like I was adopted into a family, although I am not in the industry nor a hot thing, just an old dog.

I really like to thank Scott, Buddy, Stephen, Ed, Fred, Ben, Al, Kelli Lox, Delia, Eva Lin, Eva Cassini, Kendra, Birdmountain, Nina, Jade, Stephani, Chelsea, Amber, Tasha, Jordan, Vivian, and Melissa Prime that were a real blast to hang out with.

One big floor with tables up front and several areas for standing behind with rails around them. During the cocktail and runway time pretty open access everywhere for total mingling. The only drag is that during the awards themselves if you are not seated at a table you are standing. As easy to meet anyone there as a cocktail party.

I sense that you will never have a problem at these type of events because you are an engaging, likable gentleman whose personality puts folks at ease...and because of that you won't have any problem with the ladies at these events.
At least that's what I remember...lol...I did get pretty lit at the extended parties and apologize for any gibberish I may...or may not have spouted :)

At least I mingle with everyone that approached me, but there are always the ones that stare the whole night and don't say a word or invite you for a drink and they stay in the corners waiting for the girls to approach them. Those guys need to start approaching the girls and talking to them, even for me its hard to hang with some of the girls that I know for long because they are all busy doing their things promoting themselves. Guys need to stop being shy and start acting up. invite the girls for a drink, don't only talk about how hot they are or that they watch all their porn, talk about other shit, let them breath, don't start touching their ass unless she lets you, be dress nicely, smell good, ask her if she would take a pic with you, be polite, and most of all respectful.
Believe me it works!

yeah...it seems to me that the guys that enjoy themselves the most are those that treat these things as an enjoyable experience in and of itself...I also think that maybe sometimes younger guys have a harder time with these things because they get too hyper - either lurking and thinking they're going to get noticed or guessing that this is their moment to get laid (like these girls don't meet young good looking guys all the time..lol)...

...that being said, I'm sorry that I never really got to meet you. I got to the awards really, really late.

Never been but I presume the gays at the bar(guys sozmtypo) they not got past the "am i gay threads " yet, still hovering thus not effective in true combat situation even when armed with a raging stiffy and an all you can eat sweet donought buffet of the highest calibre one can muster.

Onto the guys hanging round the bogs, cloakrooms and shit talking about sport, politiics etc are generally likely to do the same online. You know close enough to the actiion without having to worry tottally, the odd hello to a lady, a constant whiff of mangina as it totteers back and frow from the little girls room. etc etc, and theycan still see plenty of cock in the mens faclities if never quite the balls to try a little smooth fox slide n ride with one of the ladies on a toilet run. i mean its not really gay if you just look at the cock and picture a lady!

then we come to the mofos pulling shapes on the dance floor, shoving dollar bills up the next big things ringpiece and generally having a great time (until they realised they posted some mad pic on the GFs FB timeline and it all goes wrong, cos its a teabagging pic) however these my friends are where you want to be, they did the whole am i gay thing, they went out, and they atttempted to back scuttl a twink, it didnt work for them, so waht next, lets double test that theory they put lippy on twink number 2. no response, not even a slight tiingle deep in the plums. the good times had come back and they had been brave, now they reep the transfruits rewards of life, plums of various sizes, you name it. and its not gay!!!

i love how you broke it down- particularly the "constant whiff of mangina as it totteers back and frow from the little girls room" line.

and i think you're right about most of them not getting past the "am i gay" question. it's probably a lonely life keeping such a big part of oneself hidden with no clear answers that make sense (the ol' "who cares" and "they're just labels" works great on the site, but not so much in real life where you're face and reputation are attached)

some could also lack charisma. the type of guys you look back on when fondly leafing through your high school yearbook and you ponder "oh yeah... remember that guy? i wonder what happened to him"

well- he's at the tranny awards. and nobody recognizes there either. life's tough

I had a fantastic time. The awards get better and better every year. I met a lot of new people, and got to put familiar names to new faces. Fred41 & Rusty you guys are great guys. You've got class and style. It was great to meet you along with a lot of the models I didn't know. As for Monday night I tried to be as social as possible, but I was "wrangling" that night and work comes first. The after after party though I had a fantastic time.

If your new here's some advice take it or leave it your call:
1. Dress nicely
2. Have some balls and approach the person(s). Don't interrupt them, bide your time and say hello. Introduce yourself be respectful and go from there.
3. Don't say you watch or have all their movies etc. and above all don't say how you whack off to them daily (creep factor 10!) say your a big fan etc, but again be respectful.
4. Offer to buy them a drink (if they don't have one) and let them know how nice they look.
5. Repeat steps with the next girl you talk to.

Just because we have sex on film doesn't mean we're not human, or snobs or unapproachable.

I agree with Scott here!

Also u gotta reamember tons of girls are seeing each other for the first time in a year too. So its like a soriety reunion. We all love meeting our fans. As for me I was really busy at Awards working. I did mingle a lot early in night and met some cool peeps. But once it was about showtime, I had to get to work. As for the party, I was worn out so I just set down by Kristel all night and we keke'd and relaxed! LOL So I really didnt mingle much there, but it was I was worn out!

I had a wonderful time at all the events! I really enjoyed chatting with fans and even indulged in photos, autographed photos, and even let a fan massage my feet for a minute when he asked after he took some photos of me. I also let a fan hold a balloon under my ass and popped it for him as I was dancing at DragonFly. :D

Rusty, it was a delight to chat and hang with you. Hope you saw my thread I made for you.

This was my first awards show, I attended as someone that was virtually unknown to any of the girls (not even from this forum). At least, I hope that's the case, because lord knows any reputation that may have preceded me probably isn't a very good one, but I digress...

With all the above being said, I had an absolute blast. There is only one other event I attend that I can think of where I feel that welcome when surrounded by complete strangers, and that is San Diego Comic Con.

So, I'm not sure what the reasons are that caused OP to have the experience he has had. A lot of the suggestions in this thread seem pretty reasonable. All I can say is that my experience as a first timer was quite the opposite.

Personally, I had a lot of fun. My suit got all the love, but I was in it, so I guess Smith was right. Dress well.

I had to save a couple of girls from some awkward (possibly well meaning) guys. That way, I was the one looking like a jerk. I literally reached around and snatched Michelle Firestone away from a couple of dudes looking to tag team (or acting like they wanted to tag team). LOL.

I wouldn't have tried to block, but you've gotta be smoother than that fellas. Drooling is a bad sign. :)

Luckily I didn't have to talk much porn, which I thought was great. Meeting Ed Jaxon, Rusty Eldora, and blckxsslkdf (you know who you are) was cool too. I loved me some Jade Downing. Seeing Stefani Special again was great, but not enough time with her.

Birdmountain is stunningly beautiful. Wow. She says she's taking all my girls. LOL. With a face like that, there's not much I can do!

Speaking of mountains... I spent a lot of time talking to Stacie Miguire (6'5") and Lizzie Legs (6'9"), plus Michelle Firestone (my date) is 6'0" and wearing four inch heels. I'm 5'11" and like the tall ones, so that was great too.

I don't know how it should be done, but there is DEFINITELY one girl who should be barred from the event as she was repeatedly fucking with the new models. I'm sure Steven knows exactly who I'm talking about. Keep that negative Nancy away.

Other than that, I'd like to see the hosts stay sober and make an effort to know who all the girls are without having to be told. I want ALL the girls who've done shoots to be treated like VIPs, because they are. We wouldn't have this great event without them.

You keep saying this??? The hosts WERE sober, there were some issues with last minute scheduling changes when girls didn't show up - or dropped last minute and we had to make quick changes. Next year, we'll have some form of prompter for the host to see.

Being this is my first year going. As well as only knowing people online and not in person. I had a blast. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Both girls and guys. Everyone was very friendly and happy to be their. So unless you looked standoffish, bad breath or were just standing in a corner. I have no idea why you did not have a good time. I saw tons of guys approach the girls and they were all welcoming

As long as she doesn't get Michelle Firestone! J/K

It was fantastic to meet you Radius, I love your work by the way. But Bird may get some of your girls as a girls eye does have a different perspective.

Quite amazing to be in a room with a lot of women taller than my 6', they were all quite classy too.

Yes it is very important to let every girl shine, because it is their chance to network as well as meet fans. But you are right they need to be treated well, so they are comfortable meeting and talking.
