I confess, I do get hot dogs at 7-11 and love the Costco Hotdogs. Always dark mustard, a bit of ketchup, relish and onions.

It's interesting how dogs are different at Costco in various states. The oddest I had was at the Saipan Costco - I really weird taste.

Hmmm... I think I waver between a line of mustard, a sprinkle of relish, and a few onions... and sometimes mustard and kraut.

I do love these though too... Sonic Chicago Dog... not sure what is in it but is pretty tasty. Has some kind of pepper. I haven't had one in ages. Now I am hungry.

Chicago hotdogs are amazing. We call them "dragged through the garden" because of all the stuff we put on them. Actually haven't had one in a while and that picture makes me hungry for one.

Putting ketchup on a hotdog is a sin in Chicago for sure.

i tend to prefer my condiments in a very specific way on hot dogs.

being a new yorker, you can't go wrong with spicy brown mustard and onions. yellow mustard is tolerable, but not preferred
if i'm going relish, it stands alone.
kraut can stand alone or be paired with spicy brown mustard.
ketchup stands alone and should not be paired with anything else, even the onions though they are made with ketchup

other than that, if i'm going exotic, tzatziki pairs well with a nice dog and you'd be surprised how well frank's red hot and blue cheese go as well.

i am not a fan of chili dogs if only because of the mess.


now, the above holds true for boiled and grilled dogs. if the dog is deep fried, all bets are off and i'll pair that dog with almost anything. i've had a deep fried dog inside a deep fried twinkie. now fuck with that!

Eat it the way you want to. I put mayonnaise on mine with ketchup, relish, onions and mustard. When I'm in the mood, I leave out the ketchup and I top it with sour cream, onions, tomatoes, mustard and jalapeños.

Saipan is the largest island of the Northern Mariana Islands, an unincorporated territory of the United States in the western Pacific Ocean. Guam is part of the same chain but it is considered a separate territory.

For 15 years it was the hotspot for garment factories as it was US so no duties, but not really US then so $3 /hr was OK. It has been an Asian island vacation spot for Korea and Japan, but that has really dropped off too. Now it is mostly a welfare state. When the factories closed they left some 5,000 ladies with work visas on the island, but they were territory visas so they couldn't go to Guam or the US. The island only has 50,000 there.

Prostitution is sort of legal there, street walkers will work 50 feet from the door to the police station. A fun place, I visited there when working on projects in Guam.

There were no dogs or cats on the island, so yes the thought crossed my mind, but it is Costco so they have health standards. The only Costco I saw that sells paper towels by the roll, not the bundle. My last trip there Costco had sold it to a different chain.

I like cheap hotdogs steamed on a cheap bun with mustard and relish, like God intended.

For burgers, sometimes I like this seasoning salt. And I buy the fatty hamburger, the fat burns off first and cooks the meat inside as well as out. Specially on the grill.

That looks really good. I use a brick of good refrigerated chili(forgot the brand) and like to put plenty of shredded cheese on and toast it in the oven until the cheese has a bit of a crust. I use Boar's Head Hot Dogs which are good quality. Plenty of onions and diced tomatoes too.
