Stop thinking it's a real dude... it's a character who's shitty attitude winds up getting him in a lot of trouble... as the videos progress you witness the guys personal life completely unravel. As his life falls apart the tutorials get more and more complex. It's how I learned how to utilize bump maps 5 years before I started messing around with 3D renderings... Get in on the joke, totally worth it.
