Hello everybody, for a long time I've thought about SRS and it's results.
What I can't understand is on the one hand, you have the urge to change into a "complete woman" ,but on the other , you can't have children ... and so what's the point? I mean Tran's ,with ( a little or a lot of) effort can be just as feminine as women ...I mean most girls on this website are hot , so they could just as well as anyone find a mate if that's there thing. Or if it's as a living, well a male nurse vs female are just as employable. Sure depending on where you live there varying degrees of discrimination leveled against the girls , and I would say... rather than go the surgery path so as to fit in , maybe use that money instead to leave the damn country, or change the laws in your own country if possible. It seems to me most Trans can live as a women if they chose without SRS. I can understand, there's a strong feeling of seeing yourself as a girl.. but what's a girl ...if not her equipment than just a feeling of being feminine, and what is to be or feel feminine ? Is it to think of yourself as attractive, to be seen as an object of desire? Is it to elicit protection and difference, being catered to? I think trannys have this covered. I think trannys are a lot fewer than women therefore rarer ,and worth it.
What do you folks think?

You certainly don't want to hear what I think about your post.

Imagine, you had three ears when everyone else had two. You'd probably only feel normal if one was removed right?

Its not about fitting in...as no one would be able to see the new vagina anyways, unless you are someone like Kimber James.

It about feeling right in ones body.

Since Gender Dysphoria seems to be more of a mental health issue (than a physical health issue), why is it politically incorrect to suggest that it be treated as a mental health issue, and the people who suffer from it be given counseling and psych drugs?

The rigid adherence to the politically correct dogma seems to hurt transsexuals, and would be similar to allowing someone who thinks they are Napoleon to dress and act like the General, and then have surgery to look more like the late Emperor.

Gender dysphoria is a physical condition more then a mental one. Specifically it is a neurological intersexcondition. That's why transitioning is the only cure for gender dysphoria. If it was a mental thing then drugs could be used to cure it. It's the opposite. Gender dysphoria patients have healthy albeit different gendered brains then their Body so the only treatment is to change the body.

Would you tell an infertile GG that she is less of a woman because she couldn't have kids? Would you tell her she might as well have a dick since she cant use that worthless cooch? And most girls here are hot because it is a porn forum and it is their job to be hot enough to sell content! Post some shit like this on any non porn transfriendly place around the internet and see what type of reaction you get.

I would tell an infertile GG she is less of a woman if I wanted kids. And yes I would you tell her she might as well have a dick, since I'm on this website. But the feeling of being right in one's skin, I can understand that, and that's the main argument. I guess because I don't experience that particular feeling, I just see the practicalities of existing as a Trans. "A beaten dog is a wiser dog".

Because it's ignorant, insulting, and contributes to an atmosphere of hostility towards transsexuals. Whether you meant such things by your comment or not, that's how your statement was read by those who have to live this life.

"Because it's ignorant,"...yes I can see that ,because we can't control how we feel entirley. But insulting...How so? . And contributes to an atmosphere of hostility towards Trans ....Why? do you mean that society might view somehow Transsexuals as being more prone to irrationality? Hell we're all prone to that . And I'm keeping my arguments strictly to this sight, so just how damaging are my comments? To whom?I have'nt swore if by that you mean insulting.

Because your commentary on the genitalia of transpeople reduces the whole and human person that is a transsexual to a mere satisfaction of curiousity regarding a salacious and, for the non-trans world, deeply private detail. Imagine going into a job interview and the second or third question is "how long is your penis? What's it girth? Does it curve to the side when erect? Do the veins bulge?" Such questioning would be completely inappropriate, deeply invasive of privacy, show utter disrespect, and treat you as less than an adult, real, human being. People intuitively recognize this and thus, with non trans people, would never dream of asking such details of a person, particularly of one they have just met. Yet with trans people it is somehow completely okay to ask what their genitals look like these days -- Katie Couric recently asked Carmen Carerra and Laverne Cox this particular question, ON NATIONAL TELEVISION. The effect is to reduce transpeople from human beings to mere curiosities who should expect neither dignity nor respect and who should satisfy the perverse and dehumanizing inquiries of their non-trans betters. That's offensive.

As for contributing to hostility, we've already established that such perverse fascination with genitals is fundamentally dehumanizing, and when you don't view someone as fully human, that gives you moral permission to treat them in ways that would otherwise be morally impermissable. This is why people seem to think it's okay to call a transwoman a man or vice-versa, to taunt and mock transpeople in public, to deny transpeople medical care, to discriminate in employment and housing on the basis of a transperson's identity, and to have political party operatives state that transsexuals should be rounded up and put in concentration camps (!). In each case, it is hostile behavior stemming from seeing a transperson not as a person, but as something less than human, and that attitude begins when the public at large thinks its okay to invade the privacy of trans people simply because they are different.

Trans-friendly forum....nail in the head.

Instead of saying what you had in your OP, you could have said something a bit more friendly such as, "What impact does SRS have on a Transsexual and why is it an end goal for some and not others?"

That, sounds more intelligent and respectful. It shows you are thirsty for information without insulting. Just chat with us like we are human...which we are. I bet a lot of money that if you had said what you said in your OP in real life to a singular TS or even within a group of TS mingled with TS admirers, you would be ridiculed for your ignorance and disrespect.

If it was in the context of a job interview, not in a porn-Trans friendly forum. Yes.

And because this is a "transfriendly" forum, the expectation is that you treat transpeople as people, not curiosities. Intentionally or not, you violated that expectation and hence the less than favorable response.

At one time, I always openly answered questions such as yours, reasoning that by explaining and informing, I was reducing ignorance. Experience has taught me however, that such openness is counterproductive, as it implies that it is permissable to treat me with less respect and dignity than would be accorded a non-trans person. Furthermore, most people who ask such questions have no desire to be informed on trans issues: they just want to entertain themselves by hearing salacious details. Hence Bella's comment about not feeding the trolls.

At this point, I'm done being polite. You violated community norms: you don't get to defend that. Either own up to being a momentary asshole and adapt to community norms, or piss-off: making excuses is not one of the choices.

If I were you, I'd stop digging, although I'd be very happy to throw you another shovel down there.

I've had a spat earlier today on another thread with an asshole who made a dismissively objectionable comment about another girl.

It may have been casual and careless, but it betrayed an attitude that's all too prevalent here. Unless you're transgendered yourself, or know transgendered people on a non-sexual or non-porn basis, you may well see the girls as objects of fantasy at best, perhaps curiosity, or, at worst, freaks to be derided.

I accept that wasn't your expressed intention, but it's more than implied in your original post and you've amplified it considerably since.

A graceful withdrawal is probably in order. It's well-intentioned advice. Take it.

Wow nitron ...
WHERE TO START..
as a guy who has been dating a transsexual for over a year I can say you cannot possibly get that far into someone else's head usually without knowing so much of their private history and inner feelings that made them want to look female so they could match the female feelings in their hearts/inner being's that had already been there.
You seem hung-up on the surgery, I can relate as a guy and my partner still has her's and wait's for the day to get it removed in order to feel complete. I have had very good discussion's with her about the obvious consequences and risk's but it is for each to decide for themselves with out judgment by others is it not??
And yes there are more than not men out there that dream about t-girl's in their fantasies , yet wouldn't know what to do or say if in the company of a nice t-girl.

And another thing is some girls need to be more friendly to guys who think you are hot.
If a guy think you are hot and he likes your big cock, there is nothing wrong with it.
The fact is most guys are all kind of perverted. So naturally if he thinks you are hot then of course he wants to see your boobs and cock and wanna fuck you.
Just like regular straight guys would like to do it to ggs.
So if someone says "I like your big cock" or "your ass is really cute" just take it as a compliment and maybe reply thank you to the person, instead of accusing him being perveted disrespectful or treating you as a sex subject.
Hell I don't even mind if anyone thinks me as a sex subject, they can think whatever they want as long as they think I am cute and worship me. lol

If that is what is your person, to have SRS, TGirls with that trait, should get all the support they deserve, with outstanding professionals and government funds. This is not a choice, but rather nature and genetics at work. Let the mind of Girl lead her life.
However, what I do wonder about, is why some who go through this likely difficult process, still want to be portrayed as Shemales. I think I am a bad reader of people, but one person I never thought would want to do that is Danielle Foxxx, only because everything video I saw of hers, she truly seemed to almost adore her cock. Likewise, Kimber James. I do not mean to offend, only to understand.
What attracts me to Shemales is exactly that: A female looking person who has a cock. Once that is gone, the attraction in me is vaporized. Help me understand if you have gone through that experience.

It's not easy. My girlfriend wanted SRS and I was torn between supporting her and lamenting what was, to be honest, the reason we met in the first place. Now I find excitement in knowing what she was and loving her special pussy now
