I always liked The Island and just picked it up on Blu-ray.

(Some people don't like Dressed To Kill but I left it off because I feel it is a good Brian De Palma Giallo type film.)

Then there are his best films: Zulu, Alfie, The Ipcress File, Educating Rita, Little Voice, The Man Who Would be King, Last Orders.

Clue: they're all British.

Oh dear, FAIL.

The Best worst Michael Caine film, is without a doubt, Bullseye! Also starring Roger Moore and directed by Michael Winner. Rated 4.3 on IMDB it's so bad it's funny.

So bad you can't even find it on Youtube.

Second place, Blue Ice - another horror.

The problem with Caine's dud films is that they really are poor -from Hurry Sundown and The Magus through Victory and The Hand -on that basis Dressed to Kill would not feature as it has not one single redeeming feature; Brian de Palma, like Roger Corman and Gus van Sant have made films that are not lovable because they are trash, they are just trash. Dressed to Kill is an insult to the intelligence.

having only seen a handful of his films, i had to vote for Jaws IV.

he is not an actor that i have ever sought out nor is he one that i particularly avoid.

This thread is for films so shameful that Michael Caine was the only one that wasn't ashamed of the film. No Get Carter talk. Even the remake is too good for the thread.
