For porn, one thing I hate is seeing a glamorous scene (stockings tend to be in these) and then the girl wearing a $5.00 pair of stockings. You can tell by the smoothness and the fit. A good pair of stockings can be $20.00 while FF stockings can be upwards of $40-$50. For something that guys usually end up snagging with their fingernails, this can get to be an expensive wardrobe choice, if you care about the quality you buy.

People who are really into stockings can usually tell if they are 100% nylon or a synthetic blend. I find the same thing with pantyhose. Guys who are into them recognize the higher quality and can often tell the brand.

I like wearing them with bedroom lingerie. I don't wear them in any other context however. I have a couple pairs of opaque tights to wear with skirts/dresses and boots in cooler weather, as that is the only context in which you'll see 20 something women wearing legwear for the most part.

You get what you pay for, as a connoisseur of fine hosiery i hate cheap stockings. i love to see a TS or a GG in nice, good quality nylons and pantyhose. you don't see it too often.
