they have done the two best movies ever and now they are lost. Why?

Specially the first one (and mostly the first scene witha Amy) was really great.

The producer started dating a gay for pay pornstar and now is wrapped up in the world of gay porn. Truly was an amazing series sad to see she strayed to doing more gay and her regular stuff.

They were cool videos and the Amy and Christian one was excellent but it's hard to make enough money on two releases, you have to be continuous releasing DVD's to make a business of it and although she produces in other fields, if you become known in your niche, then more distributors would pick it up.
As great as the video is for those SEARCHING OUT this type of porn, I think it would be a hard sell in a video store when people are looking for more explicit and instantly gratifying.

This is really sad. We have lost Trans Romantic Films and Reality Junkies's American Tranny series.

to be honest, the sex was good but i really didn't care for the acting/story stuff so i won't really feel the loss. there are other high quality producers who make great sex scenes so good luck to that producer in their new endeavors.

that's an odd question but the first video that i saw was a savannah scene in 1992. i remember it because i was 13 and wasn't supposed to be watching such a hot chick get fucked like that. if you count mags, it was 1990 when i saw my first hustler and if you just count general nudity, probably "back to school" or "national lampoon's european vacation" in the mid 80s.

This made me laugh cause the first sex scene I saw was my older brother showed me a tape of a horse fucking a mexican chick when I was 12. I think I've been fucked in the head ever since.

There is a reason you can recall those scenes so vividly. I doubt you could recall every scene you've ever watched with the same clarity. The point is feelings are what root memories permanently.

You're fine, the brain is actually rather adaptable.

Wendy and Seanchai are both correct. Franklin, I have spoken to Mile High about American Tranny, but again the director who shoots it now is super busy with his own stuff for Evil Angel. Maybe in the future I guess.

As for TransRomantic - Nica was never going to deal well with the TS genre. It requires a director with some...finesse...and Nica was too busy with all her other projects. That's not a knock on Nica, just a fact. TS girls and guys are hard to wrangle.

You are right. It does require a lot of finesse to do it right. Most clips have the same structure and you need to have it feel for it to get it right.

Romance and erotica are two entirely different genres. What is out there is erotica and romance requires tension, love, uncertainty, and the ability to make both characters strong, especially the transgendered character.

Men watch erotica and women watch romance. To merge the two requires finesse, especially on the side of the transgendered character.

Wendy begins to hit on the key for TransRomance in this thread.

She is on the right track as are a lot of the posters.

The real finesse point is crossing that bridge in a variety of situations. It has taken me a long time to understand the finesse point, when it works, where it works, and how it works.

I did 3 years of directing for Naughty America, now I just shoot my own website stuff. I kinda do themes and scenarios but its hard when its trade. its not easy for a fledgling producer lol

finesse is one thing but you also have to have a cast that and believably pull off the serious acting stuff. with the right actors, that is one that have chemistry together and don't look like they are just going through the motions, sensual, romantic scenes appear as if they could be easier to shoot because you are not so focused on the act of fucking but on the soft, tender if you will, act of love making.

Yeah, it is the same with writing. You have to know what sells and it sucks when you put together a good character but miss the mark or put something good together but .

There are themes out there that have yet to be fleshed out in videos but it takes a little more work than throwing two people together in a room. They are popular themes in writing and surprisingly have not been done on video.

Not just that but most romance is about making you care about the characters and the road to the moment when they make love.
