TS Friedly Bars\Club on Thursdays or Fridays in So Cal

I am new to the area and wondering what would be a good bar\club to check on a Thursday or Friday night in Los Angeles or North OC.

I have not really done that since the Queen Mary and Peanuts aka 7969 were active.

I have heard Hamburger Mary's in Long Beach is good but never been there. There is also one in Hollywood/West LA on Santa Monica Blvd. Might be worth checking out. Seems like I have heard someone mention Cobra I think in the Hollywood area.

That's all I have.

Cobra on Thursdays; ? on Fridays (Peanuts 2.0 at Tempo and Palms used to be the spot). Hamburger Mary's in Long Beach is on Tuesdays with their special event the first Saturday of the month (like this weekend).
