You speak the truth, sir. Even though I went to the convention (last minute decision) and had a blast, much more fun was had around the bar. The girls were literally everywhere...before and after the awards show.

The red carpet lineup wasn't bad either. Seeing everyone eyeball Vaniity and Venus Lux was pretty nice. They were probably hating when they hugged me haha.

Seemed like a really slow year. Everyone I've talked to said money was terrible this year. I had promoters begging me to send them people that night, which has never happened on NYE before. Usually its a couple hundred for a ticket and line jump, this year I walked right in to XS like I owned it in 10 minutes flat. Which should not be happening at 12:30 with no prior notice and a party of 4 that doesn't want a table.


I want to go but I don't know anything about it. And it seems really expensive.

Hotel rooms aren't too terrible anymore. Now that it is on a different schedule than CES the whole city isn't booked solid. The venue (Hard Rock) and most of the high end places still charge out the ass, but you can find some decent rates at the Palms or other 2nd tier hotels.

Compared to the Wynn, Aria, Cosmopolitan, Caesars (Octavius,Augustus, Nobu towers), or Venetian.....yes. I'd even say Planet Hollywood is a better place now. As for amenities, all those places have everything the Palms offers, and places nearby you can walk to if you don't want their particular version. With the Palms being off Strip, braving cab lines both ways kind of sucks. I used to love the Palms, but its going to be a locals joint real soon if it doesn't get a big name place and/or act in there to bring back the feel it had when it opened.

Anyone can pay to go in to the convention. Most of the parties are also open to the public, the stars are all just beyond the velvet rope in the VIP section though.

To the convention yes. For most of us the fun is at the bars in the Hard Rock or at the clubs later that night. Doing tequila shots with your favorite star is much more fun than just going "Hi Foxxy, can you sign this?" with 20 other wankers in line behind you.

Ironically I don't even recall a cafe being in that place. 35 Steaks and Pink Taco on the other hand...

Since a few girls I know are flying in from LA and will be signing at the convention, it's looking like I'll be there for a spell.

The cafe is actually outside the casino on the corner of Harmon and Paradise. But the food sucks so it might have closed down. I never think to even go there.

As for clubs, most of the big names have a sponsored industry event at one of the big places. If you're looking to hang with TS women specifically, I suggest getting to know them and finding out. They go where the alcohol and wind takes them.

You can't upload directly from your phone through Facebook? Just use the cellular network. I usually can hit 4G on my iPhone in there. Granted,it'll be busier than usual, but if I can upload video from EDC to Facebook with 130,000 others on their phones as well, you should be fine from the Hard Rock.

Not too many of the crew showed up this time; in fact, two were M.I.A. It's all good though; OEM, Jix, and I had a good time. I ran into Foxxy, Eva Lin, and Jessica Foxxx; we wound up partying at Vanity (one of the official AVN after party spots), bottle service and all. We even got to hang out with the folks from Wicked Pictures: Jessica Drake, Leylani Lei, Stormy Daniels, and Asa Akira. Danika Dreams and Tiffany Starr WAS going to join us (I guess), but I didn't see them in the club; just in the casino.

Sorry; no pictures. I didn't feel like bringing the camera in with me. It was a bit quieter this year but fun none the less. I didn't bother with the red carpet this year. Things will be hopping more in February in Glendale; yessir.

This year was a dud. Couldn't find any of the gurls on the show floor and no booth #. Been to the Circle bar everyday and didn't see anyone. DM Ben my text # and never heard a peep. Had my GILF pornstar friends at the Circle Saturday night but no one showed up. Opportunities lost. Don't think I'll be back next year.

So what did we do Headed over to Mandalay Bay Night club LIGHT- I love this place we passed right through and sat a two different tables, our host gave me a stack of drink tickets so what does the JIX do? I go to the bar and grab a handful of babe bring them back with drinks so they arent on the bottle Lol.
Made many peoples night that night...Afterwards we do afterhours at 2 places one of which was OEMS! Lol the DRAIS! which i ended up leaving at 10am, just to be stuck in a car with a psycho! 100mph in a 45zone yeah I felt like I was going to have a stroke! end the of the day I know we all had a blast in our own little way, I think myself and oem just didnt want to do the whole pornstar thing this time around...
