Nasty Rumours

One of the downsides of a forum like this with its discussion of sexual matters and the sex trade are the occasional nasty rumours that get spread here.

I encountered one this week. I will not post the names of either the person who posted the rumour or the subject of that rumour.

It was a claim, supported by the assertion that other girls in business knew, that a particular London escort was HIV positive.

The girl accused of this was so upset that she went and had herself tested. And has now produced the paperwork needed to prove that this allegation was false.

I don't know if the allegation, now retracted by the individual involved in reporting it to me, was sent privately to anyone other than me.

But I'd like it known in public that if anyone did get this it is categorically untrue. The girl in question is HIV negative.

There is no real way to protect against disinformation. Over the past few years since i've been a member here there have been constant fake reviews - damning or praising girls. The suspicion is these are posted by rivals. There have been allegations of barebacking. There have been reports of criminality.

If people are going to make these claims then they had better have damn good evidence to support them and do it publicly, not by the equivalent of whispering privately. Either that or do the decent thing and say nothing.

I will call this people sad and frustrated .People jelouse on other people lives..People who are keyboard warriors ,people who dont have anything else to do apart from looking on other people plates.People who love causing trouble to other just because they dont have a live.

I saw this on a local Seattle board last week. A CL ad with the backside of a travelling provider with the ad title including 'Barebacking'. Remarks on a board with a link & 'be safe' indicating you should see someone else.

Why would a touring Tgirl with excellent reviews and ads on Eros, also advertise for BB. I could see possibly an ad for "Young athletic hunks" as a diversion from her paid customers. It makes zero sense, except that it is posted to start rumors and hurt her.

One such rumor from 4 years ago on a different provider keeps resurfacing - "Didn't she get reported for an STD" came back up in a board post this fall.

I've been told to my face about countless girls being sick and still working. Mostly by other girls trying to dissuade me from seeing them. I've read HIV rumors on CL, bp, here, and other tgirl forums. IMO HA should not permit a post concerning an individual's personal health status.
We all should be informed adults here. We should understand the activity we engage in involved risks to both parties, and be absolutely vigilant in reducing them during every encounter. Rumor spreading does not help anyone.

Unfortunately I heard such rumors all the time. It is very ugly when the girls speak behind each other's back.
But yes, some names will clear the situation of unfair accusations.

I will not name the girl who made the accusation - herself a working girl - or the girl she accused. They have spoken to each other and made their peace.
