This isn't a ploy to get you to join my site (but if you do... :)). I'm making some changes on the site and since upgrading to Windows 8.1 the videos on the tour page don't seem to play correctly, returning a error. I think I've figured it out but I need to know if anyone else is also experiencing it on a Windows 8.1 machine OR if you're using IE 11.

Can as many people who are using either of those go to krissy4u.com/tour (http://krissy4u.com/tour)and see if the videos will play, please? If they don't can you let me know the error you are receiving?

I've tested across Safari, FF, Chrome, and most mobile browsers so seems isolated to IE 11 / Windows 8.1.

Much appreciated! Thanks!

PS... actually, if anyone using any version of IE could let me know if those videos work, that would be great. Please let me know what version of IE you are using if you reply. Thanks!

Hope it's an easy fix!

Doesn't actually appear to be a problem on my end... seems to be a problem isolated to IE11 and its stupid insistence on Compatibility View. Stupid MS trying to be smarter than everyone else. I think someone needs to introduce the term "backward compatibility" to them.

Windows 8.0, IE 10

The video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported. (Then it lists the different file formats).

This might well be something to do with my software. I've never checked your site before, so I cannot say that it used to work.

I thought there were well documented cock-ups in Windows 8.1 with IE 11 that Microsoft is trying to iron out.

I've already had my anti-virus software inform me that it doesn't work under 8.1 and asking me not to upgrade to 8.1 until this is fixed.

Thank you. If you know how, can you go into your IE settings and click the display site in Compatibility Mode and try again? It should play. Looks like IE 11 is trashed for backward compatibility... which sucks.
