Hi. Let me start by apologizing for breaching board etiquette by my buzz-killing first post.

I'm not even new to the whole TS scene. I've never entered into it. However, that is not because I want it that way.

This Allanah Starr Shemale Wild West party would be the perfect opportunity for me to finally check out the women who continuously occupy my fantasies. But, I guess I'm scared.

I'm a guy who isn't attracted to men. I've never done nor desired a man. However, since I was about 11, when I saw my first shemale magazine, I was enthralled. For over twenty years, I've sought out TS porn, over everything else, to satisfy my lust. A while back I went to SER and checked out all the escorts (Allanah's review was excellent and I almost picked up the phone and I'm not trying to kiss her ass, well, not in a smarmy kind of way). Anyway, I've always sought out girlfriends who would strap one on from time-to-time, but I've never had the courage to take the next step. I love girls with something extra. I can't explain it, I just know it because I feel it.

It's not that I'm afraid to labeled a homo, I couldn't care less if it feels good. I'm comfortable in my sexuality and my masculinity. What I'm afraid of is WHAT to do and HOW to do it. Specifically, do I just walk in the club like I know what I'm doing and have everyone think that I'm some creep? What do I wear and how do I act so as not to look like said creep? Will I be able to meet and hang out with people who share my likes and dislikes? Will the girls talk to a guy like me? What is the protocol?

To be honest, I guess I've never checked out his world I find to be so alluring because I've never known that there was a whole community of "friends" who feel the way I do. My primary motivation in this post is NOT to get laid. I would just appreciate some advice from some people who may understand what I'm talking about and where I'm coming from.

It's actually very laid back and very cool. Most of the guys come by themselves as they don't have buddies who are into this scene, so everyone was in admiration of the girls together. More scenes like this are definately needed for guys to meet girls in non-threatening, non-sexual venues.
Sure plenty happens after I'm sure but if the girls are as chilled as the last party (all smiles, all friendly) it will help them personally as well as their TS sisters.
Sorry non of the Grooby crew will be able to make it - I would have came but I'm with the rest of the boys out of the country.

That is one thing I hate about TS clubs. The guys don't interract in a "real life" sort of way. It's really strange to me. I wish the guys would become friends with the other guys and not always come alone. It's just very unnatural and doesn't give girls the opportunity to see someone in his comfort zone.

I think the guys are afraid of talking to another guy because they don't want the guy to think they are picking up on them or something. All the girls know the guys aren't gay.. the guys just have to realize that the other guys in the place are the same way there are so they can start behaving normally.

From our concerned poster above, obviously this is a good indication of what most guys probably are feeling. That said, I doubt many guys are ready to make friends in the community when they haven't quite come to terms with their own shemale fascination.

I am certainly not a spokesperson for any crowd, but I believe that there must be others with the same feelings and concerns I have.

I'm glad it is a laid-back atmosphere. That's a relief. I really didn't know what to expect and, in any social situation, that's intimidating. In this situation, where there's so much that many people see as "weird", it's much more so.

I hope to meet some folks. I hope that we can share an interest that we have and enjoy ourselves. And I hope that some day, I can help someone else feel comfortable with their own feelings.
