The liverpudlian singer Jackie Lomax just died. Once a member of a sixties band called The Undertakers, Lomax was always a nearly man - but made some fine music, especially an album "Is This What you Want" produed by George Harrison for the Apple label in the 1970s " His single "Sour Milk Sea" written by George Harrison failed to chart - even though it featured Harrison, McCartney, Starr and Eric Clapton.
