Some Republicans won't be happy with Meghan McCain's recent comments about Republicans.
In a recent interview with Politico (http://www.politico.com/story/2013/09/raising-meghan-mccain-a-reality-show-96429_Page2.html), McCain discussed her show "Raising McCain" on Pivot (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/27/meghan-mccain-john-mccain-msnbc_n_3663466.html), a new channel targeting millenials. She also spoke out about being a socially liberal Republican. "We're not all crazy rednecks," she said about the GOP.
McCain told Politico's Patrick Gavin (http://www.politico.com/story/2013/09/raising-meghan-mccain-a-reality-show-96429_Page2.html) that she was "frustrated" that "nobody seems to be listening to reason," and continued:
"People within the Republican Party don’t have to listen to me. But, at some point, they will have to listen to facts, to trends in this country. We’re losing young voters, women voters and minority voters. … I just think it’s a recipe for failure. … The extreme right wing of the party is still running everything."

McCain — who has gone head-to-head with conservative pundits including Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter — has made similar comments about the Republican party before. She once said that fellow Republicans treat her like a "freak" (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/25/meghan-mccain-republicans-freak_n_1545186.html)because she departs from the party line on social issues, and that she would consider becoming an independent (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/16/meghan-mccain-gop-leave-party_n_2145833.html)if the GOP doesn't make some changes before 2016.

I would like to see Republicans actually compete for the Black vote. Instead their mantra on small government, virtually ignores the existence of regular human issues, such a being a working person, and not having healthcare. I think the Democrat plan, added 16-20 million people, while the Republican plan added 3 million. It was mainly government that fought the concept of being denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition. It was the market place that came up with the idea. Not everything, the market place comes up, with is good, for the general public. The major ideas from Republicans, seems to be catering the the needs of large corporations, even though they tout being for small business.

She's correct in the sense that there are no absolute's, especially when there Republicans from every state and territory in the Union. Most politician's are ivy leaguers and wouldn't be caught dead doing anything or saying anything a redneck would. The fact is that politician's are nowhere near as approachable as a redneck they are elitist.
