A lot of that depends on the kinds of hormones you're taking, the dosage, and the method of delivery. With orals, the most common and least effective kind of hormone, so much of the estrogen gets metabolized by the liver that the only way to get ANY feminizing effect is to kill testosterone production with an anti-androgen like spironolactone. Of course, no testosterone means no erections and little to no cum.

The regimen I'm on uses implanted delayed-release pellets for the estrogen, and injections for progestin. I get 9 estrogen pellets inserted every 3 months, and a triple shot of progestin every 2 months. Since the hormones are released directly into the bloodstream, little to none of the estrogen and progestin gets metabolized, obviating the need for an anti-androgen. Although you're testosterone levels naturally fall when you have natal female estrogen levels, they don't drop to zero, as is the case when you're on high doses of anti-androgens, because natal females have a small but significant quantity of testosterone floating in their systems too. As it turns out, the amount of testosterone required for a functioning penis is actually pretty low: natal-female levels are plenty. You're sperm count gradually drops to negligible levels at that testosterone level, but you're ability to get aroused and hard is completely unaffected, and your ejactulate just becomes clear and less viscous, and in my opinion more girly. :P


For me, at least, the implanted pellets are awesome. My body is feminizing very rapidly (small B-cup breasts, woot!) after years of shit results on orals .
