Hi,

I've been crossdressing most of my life. I'm lucky to have a woman in my life who enjoys this side of me. Even encourages me to dress and play with her.

Not so long ago, I had an experience with a quite beautiful, passable CD/TV who escorts. She helped me with my makeup and transformation, etc. A professional lesson of sorts (and a bit more). One curious thing she told me is that a substantial amount of her clients admit to wanting to crossdress or do crossdress in secret. She helps them experience this and the fantasies surrounding it.

I have been more into crossdressing in the past. Went through a bit of a mid-life crisis last year when I turned 40 and tried it out again. I didn't look nearly as femme as I had in my 20s, so I was pretty disappointed. My current partner is not into it at all and threatened to divorce me if I insisted on doing it, so I gave up on it. It's not worth losing my wife or daughter over. :(

Well, yeah. There's not really separate terms for that as far as I know... I guess it would just be Straight CD vs Bi/Gay CD, lol.

I suppose a straight man who has a dressing fetish to have sex with his wife might not think of himself as a full-fledged "crossdresser", but he is definitely cross-dressing... there is no other term for it.

I always understood CD as anyone who wore clothing of the opposite sex, male or female, but did not identify their gender as that opposite sex. Sexual orientation or whether dressing was a fetish was irrelevant to the definition.

I haven't tried it but would like to. The whole thing fascinates me, as unlike transgendered people, CDs not only bend gender roles and play with their fluidity, i.e. "queering," but ironically sometimes tend to reinforce stereotypes of sex, gender, and class since crossdressing as, for lack of a better term, a fetish emerged in Victorian Britain as a way for upper class males to temporarily reverse their social roles and explore new ones, without actually permanently interrupting the status quo. I think the same is still true to some extent today. Anyways, that's the intellectual side of it which makes me curious, but to be totally real, panties and women's lingerie is hot and I consider it an art form. Who wouldn't want to wear it?

What an embarrassing experience, but as this is the internet and I am as anonymous as possible now a days, here is my story.

I have always been interested in trying to cross dress, about three years ago now, I got what I considered an outfit together and decided that would be the night. I showered, changed into the outfit and now came the heels, I should have given some more thought to the heels as I had no idea how hard it would be to balance in them, let alone walk in them.

I took about 10 steps and next thing I knew I was on the ground and my ankle had a made noise that bones should not make and I was in pain. My first thought was crap, now what, how am I going to explain this to ambulance squad. So I called 911 from my cell phone, explained that I had fallen and needed an ambulance as there was no way I was able to walk let alone drive to the hospital.

The operator said it would be about 15 - 20 minutes, so I mustered all the energy I had and managed to get myself to the bed where my male clothes were and with a lot of pain managed to get off the "outfit" and get my t-shirt on along with boxers and gym shorts, then threw the outfit into the closet across the way.

By the time the ambulance arrived I was leaning against the bed, in a fair amount of pain, but not worrying about how I would explain the female clothes I would have been as I was able to change back into my boy clothes.

Needless to say I never tried cross dressing again as I just do not want to go through an ordeal like that again.

Maybe someday I will find some others who enjoy it and can teach me how to do it properly and safely.

I used to dress up a lot when I was younger. I still do every once in a while, just not near as much. I am lucky to be Asian, at least when it came to dressing up. It's a lot easier when your body is small, soft and hairless. At least I think so. And while I have always been attracted to trans women, I learned early on that when I was all dolled up I was attracted to men. For a while I even thought about possibly transitioning as well. But as I got older, I figured out that was really not for me. Transgender women and crossdressers are two different things entirely. But at least I can say I was lucky enough to have had some really good sex with some very handsome, we'll hung and dominant men. Omg, I loved it.

There is an adult emporium near Chicago, 15th Avenue Bookstore, that has a couple of Transgender sex parties every week.
